Which September 2016 week would you choose?

The 11 month trigger date for DVC rentals is coming up soon, so we need to nail down our week.

The constraints are: Start at UO, move to WDW on a Tuesday, leave the following Sunday.

Choices for checkin/checkout at WDW are:

1. Sep 13-18. Pros: Lightest Crowds, good chance of MNSSHP on 9/13. Cons: Hottest weather, chance of missing MNSSHP
2. Sep 20-25. Pros: Excellent chance of MNSSHP on 9/20, some chance of F&W starting on Sep 23. Cons: Still hot, slightly higher crowds (more 3s, fewer 1s), possibly much higher crowds (6 instead of 1) if F&W starts
   
3. Sep 27-Oct 2. Pros: MNSSHP nearly guaranteed, excellent chance of F&W on Oct 1, marginally cooler. Cons: Even higher crowds, particularly Fri and Sat.

Mostly the gamble is that #1 is likely to have the best crowds but the highest risk of missing MNSSHP, and maybe the highest risk of hurricane weather. #3 has the best chance of both MNSSHP and F&W (the latter a mixed blessing), maybe the lowest risk of hurricane weather, but the worst crowds.

I would pick option 3. You really are not looking at all that great of a jump in crowds. It is totally worth it to make sure you experience F&W and MNSSHP.

If you're going with option 2 or 3 I would stay on site at UO so you can have the express pass. I really noticed a crowd difference between the week after labor day and the weeks after last year but as a solo traveller I just used the single rider lines. I didn't notice a change at Disney because of my planning and hitting rope drop/MNSSHP. Heading back in couple of weeks so I'll be able to give you an update then

We travel every year around the dates of options 1 & 2. 1 will have LOW crowds so I'd go with that IF you don't care about Food & Wine. Food & Wine is awesome, though, so I'd choose 2 or 3. I wouldn't worry too much about the weather. It does what it does.
