I know this is late notice but I hope to hear from someone tonight about this.

My MIL gave me $$ to get whatever I wanted for Christmas so I'm thinking about buying a scrap tote but can't decide which one is the best. I have alot of paper and alot of stickers but not many buttons, brads or things like that. Michael's has the Crop Station Create a bag on sale this wknd for 64.99. Looks pretty neat and looks like it'll hold alot of stuff. BUT JoAnn's has the Crop N Style XXL Scrapbook Tote also for $64.99. JoAnn's will give an additional 20% off any one purchase between 6-9. I can be at the store as early at 7:30 or 8 if I get out of the house on time at 7 as planned. Michael's will give $10 off any purchase $40 or more all day. They price out about the same, I just don't know which one is the better tote. I really want to get organized so need one that has more paper space. Don't have alot of pens and scissors.

Anyone have any suggestions on which they like the best and why? Appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!!
Karen

I have the crop n style one, I really like it. it does get heavy though once I pack everything into it. :D If you really don't have a lot of embellishments and mostly just paper, you might be better off with the crop station bag. I don't put paper in my crop in style bag (well, ok I do) but I have the paper keeper that fits on top that I use for paper. Have fun shopping! maggie

First thing I would say, buy the biggest one you can find!
Also what is your scrapping style? will you be going to a lot of crops? scrap at Home? Mixture? do you have a scrappign area? work out of the bag?
Initially I was totally portable, no area so I bought the Crop in style XXlarge bag. I love it. I have 3 paper takers in in and one sticker binder. I can still slide on album in it or lay it on top but still inside the bag and zip.
I bought a tackle box to hold all of my embellishments, cutting systems, x-sticker maker, trimmer etc....
This system works great. I don't know what the other bag is but I would want one that is flat on top, not rounded. that way you can stack things on it.
Yes it does get heavy but I have had it for about 3 years, taken it to many crops and it has held up great!

You have probably already gone out.. but why not buy it tomorrow at michael's? There is a 25% off coupon on the back of the sale page-- and it is good for 25% off your entire purchase even stuff already on sale. :)

Hope that helps..

my 2 cents.. the crop in style xxl -- or if you can find it.. the portable paper thing by the same company. They are great and very sturdy.

Thanks to everyone for your input and advice. I went this morning bright and early (w/half the population of North Davidson and Sumner Counties in TN) to JoAnn's. Got the XXL Crop N Style. It was on sale for 64.99. Paper was also on sale for 6/.96 which is a killer price! In addition I got there before 9 and rec'd an additional 20% off. So with my Case, 15 or so sheets of paper, and a stick of glue, I got out the door for $59 and change. Pretty good deal I think. So excited about this new "toy"!! Can't wait to start putting stuff in it and get organized!
