I thought it was only Scooterbug but in looking at the prices on various other sites I also see that Gold Mobility says they have that option also. I was just confused because I thought it was just one company that was allowed to do that.
I've only rented with Buena Vista but that was back when they could all drop off with bell services. The times don't work for me for the pick up at the end of our stay though.

Only ScooterBug can utilize onsite WDW Resort Bell Services/Luggage Services. Gold Mobility will arrange to meet you in-person at WDW Resorts; I believe they do deliver via Bell Services at the Swan/Dolphin, Universal Resorts, and other off-site resorts.

On site hotels is only Scooterbug, which has a mixed track record at best.

Gold Mobility will meet you in person for on-site hotels and drop off at bell services for most other hotels. They will meet you on your schedule, not predetermined times like most other vendors and their equipment is in much better repair than others, as well as having captains chairs on the Victory line, adding cup holders, phone holders, fans, damage and theft insurance at no extra cost. They even include ponchos. And you don't have to wait for bell services, which back when we did use one that could drop off with bell services took 45 minutes for bell services to bring out the scooter.

They also use bell services at Shades of Green.

I just did a rental from Scooterbug so it can be delivered before we arrive. Can you tell me why they have a mixed track record?

Ok thanks everyone! It was the wording on gold mobility that had me confused because it said they can meet at bell services at most hotels and I guess I must have skimmed over the word "most"! LOL

I really prefer the bell services drop/pick up. (we never waited in the past for their help but that was pre-covid) but sounds like ScooterBug doesn't have great reviews.

We are landing and getting a rental car then heading for a grocery stop and guessing how long everything will take in order to time a meeting seems stressful. Plus, once we do arrive and unload our stuff we'd like to take off to the parks of course not have to wait for the scooter meet time.
Decisions, Decisions. LOL

We used Gold Mobility, and they let us pick the exact time for the delivery and the pickup. They were standing by waiting for us both times. Excellent communication.

DH has spoken to quite a few whi rented from them and showed up only to find out they oversold and there was no scooter available for them. They did get refunds, but left them high and dry. Others had batteries that only lasted part of the day or a few only about 2 hours after being fully charged. Many had huge chunks missing from their equipment at delivery and just in bad repair overall.

Then you also gave to deal with bell services that is extremely slow at times. Especially now.

Seriously, tell Gold the approximate time you will arrive, then call and let them know what you will be doing after landing.

They will text you the night before to confirm and remind then about the grocery stop, then text them back when they say to (likely when leaving your grocery stop) and they will meet you as you are walking into your resort if that is what you want.

In addition to what Evita_W said, scooter bug has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. I don't know the reasons, but I trust the BBB, so that scares me away.

We used scooter bug twice and had absolutely no issues and they also offer a discount for DVC members and we used them when we stayed at Beach Club and Saratoga and both times picked up and dropped off with bell services.

We are using scooter bug for wheelchairs early February and they have been very responsive to my questions. Even called me instead of emailing when I sent a message making sure all was good with our reservation. Will be much easier to have the chairs when we arrive. Also they are only charging us for 3 days instead of 4 because we will be dropping off the wheelchairs to bell services a half hour earlier on departure day than we asked it to arrive on arrival day. They didn’t charge us for that 23.5 hour period. Hopefully the quality is ok. They assured me it would be but I will see when the time comes. Luckily I don’t have to worry about batteries and such. Just the wheelchairs being in good condition. If it isn’t I will definitely be calling them.

I'm shocked as I'm pretty sure when I posted on here wanting advice on a scooter that a ton of people replied with good reports on them.

This is making me concerned and thinking of canceling after reading yelp. The Gold one is pretty decent deal with insurance included and even better if you need it for 7 days but we only need it 4. Just don't want a big hassle and torn up scooter

Honestly, even if condition is the same, remember that Gold includes damage waiver, captains seat (Vuctory models), cell phone holder, cup holder and fan. Also has undercarriage lighting that makes you much more visible. All at no extra cost. They also have the yellow reflective stripping that also makes you more visible. Don't underestimate how much more enjoyable these extra touches make your trip. I would go with Gold just for the added features, but add in their excellent customer service (there is a reason you see all 5 star reviews everywhere) and that they will add an additional accessory if you want for free and they provide ponchos with every rental, very useful in Florida.

We rented two scooters from Gold last March. For the first, they met us in the lobby of CSR and were FANTASTIC about the fact that our flight was delayed and transportation lines for ME was longer than expected. They showed up as I was checking in to the hotel and had me on my way in no time. The second scooter we rented was just as easy at delivery. Both scooters were in excellent shape and the batteries were never a problem for either. Turning them back in was no problem either. Throughout the entire experience they were responsive and flexible when we needed them to be. I will absolutely use them again.

It actually depends on which one of Scooterbugs listings (they have a few) in Orlando you look at.
Which is why the BBB rating on scooterbug has absolutely no value or meaning. Saying it has a F rating is dishonest, if you know BBB also lists scooterbug with an A rating. BBB never answered my email asking for clarification.
