Looking to invest in another pair of scissors and would like to know what everyone else uses.

I started off with fiskars pointed tips; didn't like it and ended up using my dd's crayola scissors which were more comfortable for me to use.
Then I remembered I had a nice pair of stainless steel, shear haircutting scissors which I never used again after realizing I should not go near anyone's hair with them. They are amazing, except too long.

What are your opinions on these:

Fiskar's micro tip scissors
Fiskar's soft grip
CM scissors
Cutterbee

I have cutterbees and I love them (I have 2 pair) and I have Scherenschnitte Scissors for very fine paperwork.

I love the CM scissors. I have used the fiskar but did not like them for finer detail work. They were awkward.

These scissors are the best in the world! They are very comfy and the spring helps your hand from getting tired when you are cutting a lot. I like them so much I have bought them for my son's classroom (twice! once for kindergarten and once for 1st grade) so when I am volunteering I can use them instead of the old rusty ones they have. I really love them.

I have 3 pairs. Fiskars, CM and a large pair of Cutterbees that I won. I like the cutterbees for sharpness but havent gotten around to buying a smaller pair. I usually use my Fiskars just because I have some adhesive on the CM ones and I am too lazy to clean them otherwise my vote is for CM

Fiskars Fine Tip Micro.- love them. Took some getting used to, but now I won't use anything else. I love them.

Another vote for the Fiskars micro tip scissors. I would never have bought these if I hadn't tried them first at our LSS. Actually my dd's tried them first at a kids crop and then showed them to me. All 3 of us have a pair now.

CM scissors. I went to a CM crop/show and got them free, and they are great for me. I only use them for quick trimming. As far as cutting tools go; my paper trimmer get's the most use.

I love my cutterbees. I especially like that they are yellow and black, it helps them stand out when buried under my scrapping mess! :teeth:

One other thought, whichever you buy, keep them strictly for scrapping. I found my DH using my scrap scissors for one of the kids projects! :scared: :faint:
