Which room at AKV?

We are staying in a standard view studio at Jambo house and I was wondering if any one has a specific room or building they can recommend.

Jambo House is already a specific building within AKV and is a booking category. Most Standard Views will overlook the Uzima Pool. There are a small number of Standard View rooms that used to be Savanna View rooms. The reclassified rooms will be along either the Kudo or Zebra Trails.

Are all the rooms pretty close to the main lobby and bus stop? It seems when we stayed at Kidani we walked forever to get to the main lobby and bus stop.

The pool view rooms are about as reasonable as you can get in Jambo.

The reclassified savannah rooms can be as far from the lobby as they can be..(I had one of those rooms, about 3 rooms from the end on the last spur. It was a loooong walk, but I love watching the animals, so I was pleased with the view)

Are all the rooms pretty close to the main lobby and bus stop? It seems when we stayed at Kidani we walked forever to get to the main lobby and bus stop.

One reason I chose standard view was to be (I thought) closer to Mara. When I checked in, the CM even commented on how the room she gave me was close to an elevator. Unfortunately, it was too"hacks and gone" as my grandmother used to call being a far distance from anything. The good news was that I got a savannah view, and the only thing you might call "limited" about the view was that the people pen was just to the lower right. But I kept laughing to myself that "THIS is her idea of 'close to elevator?'"

On my first Jambo trip I quickly realized "close to an elevator" does not equal "close to lobby" as there are several elevator banks along the hallway.
