Which rides to get FP for

we will be going in April around Easter time. I know it will be busy. I have a 7 year old daughter and a 5 year old son. They love fast crazy rides. I know my son isn't really tall enough for some of them, he is 42in. They do like Star Wars, we all do. My daughter likes princesses and frozen still. My son I'm sure would like everything. We are doing 2 days at MK and 1 day at each of the others. I might add a half day for HS because I want to do the Star Wars dessert party if they are still doing it in April one night and fantasmic another. So what would be the best plan when it comes to fastpasses and what will be fine to ride without FP? I really do not want to wait in 2 hour lines for one ride with 2 little ones.

It is going to be very crowded and the lines are going to get very long. Spring break is one of the most crowded times of year. Plan on hitting the parks early. Not sure how far out you can schedule dessert a party, but you should certainly be looking at that if you want to do it. As far as fast passes go, you are going to have to prioritize what is most important and hope for adding after you use your first 3 each day. Popular rides like SDMT are hard to score even 60 days out. Most of all be flexible and have fun!

You pretty much want to go for the attractions with the highest usual wait times. Some attractions you should look for are in Epcot, I'm pretty sure there is still tiered system so you really have to choose between test track or soarin, or frozen ever after (personally think soarin is the way to go but since you have daughters frozen could be and option), and then get spaceship earth and the rest is pretty much no wait. In Magic Kindom attractions such as space mountain, seven dwarfs mine train, Peter Pan, big thunder, and splash mountain, sorry if I missed some usually have pretty substantial waits. In animal kingdom dues to there not being many attractions dinosaur, kali river rapids (maybe not as long as in the summer) , and especially Expedition Everest have very long wait times. Lastly Hollywood Studios, still a good park though very much under construction I would recommend Star tours for your son, and definitely tower of terror. Also like Epcot it is tiered so you can choose between rocking roller coaster, and toy story mania. So personal preference there. There are also some tips such as make your fast passes earlier because you can make more throughout the day after you have used your 3. Even with fastpasses you will still have to wait stand by since it is very crowded during that time. Hope this helped, and have a great trip!
