1. At TL - Humunga Kowabunga, Crush n Gusher, Storm Slides. They tend to have the longest lines. The Shark Reef will have a long line when it opens, but dies down as the day goes on. At BB - Summit Plummet, Slush Gusher, Down Hill Double Dipper. Summit and Slush are one person at a time, so they will get a pretty long line. Good thing about them is that they're right next to each other, so you can hit them back to back. A top tip - don't use the chair lift if you're in a hurry. It's actually faster to hustle up the steps to the top. Plus it'll let you build up a good sweat so the cold water feels good.
2. If you're there at RD, you'll have no problem finding shady chairs. For TL - there is a wonderful area not far from Crush n Gusher. In front of the pool where that ride complex is there is an area with chairs that is a beach. There are several cabanas there for public use. Or, if you keep walking to the right (if your back was to Crush n Gusher), at the far end of the beach, in the back, there are chairs completely under a group of trees. All day shade. At BB - I like the area right near Tike's Peak. If you go to the food stand called I.C. Expeditions, its right across from there. It's a little circle area, with the bathrooms right behind it. Get there quick, they fill up. If they're full, go to the back of the park, where Runoff Rapids is. There are tons of shady spots and nobody ever seems to go back there.
