I have planned our whole trip:D . I'm wondering which rides we can take our dd on. Of course she cant ride the rides w/height restrictions. Any advice will help. Thanks:earseek:

You can take him on anything without a height restriction. When our son was 11 mos, he rode everything we could get him on. Invest in a baby Bjorn carrier. Its priceless!

You'll be surprised how many rides you'll be able to go on!!

You can go on almost everything in Fantasyland so spend lots of time there!

Pooh
Peter Pan
It's a Small World
Dumbo
Carousel
Aladdin Carpet Ride
Buzz Lightyear

Snow White (can be scary for some kids cause of the old hag)
Haunted Mansion (can be scary to some kids)
Jungle Cruise
Pirates of the Caribbean (can be scary to some kids)

That's what I can think of off the top of my head!

At AK you can do the safari and the train (he should enjoy the petting zoo with the goats and sheep).

Living Seas was a great place for our DS at that age.
Also, the boat ride in Mexico can be fun.

Don't forget the train at MK

This is a great post as I'm trying to think of think of attractions my 22-mo will be able to enjoy there.

When DH and I went in May, DD was 10 mos old. We didn't ride many rides with her, but we did some baby swapping on the rides we wanted to go on. I did want to take her on the teacups, and aladdin and pooh. But DH was too worried she'd get scared or that she was too small :p We did ride the POTC with her, and IASW. She was a little scared of POTC, but she absolutely loved IASW. We also watched the Tiki Show, and she liked that too.

Most of the time we just strolled around. She was really content just seeing all the new things and being with Mommy and Daddy. I hope you have a great time with your little one!

Stacy,
Do you remember how much your DS weighed at 11 months? I'm going in Jan with DD who will turn 1 ten days after we get home. She weighs 21 pounds now at 9 months. We do have a Baby Bjorn but I wasn't planning on bringing it with us. We will also have DD (4 1/2) and DS(turns 3 on trip) and there will be at least 3 adults.

I can't wait to see baby's reaction to Disney! She's not afraid of much at home so I think she'll have a blast.

lovesdumbo, i think your littlest one will have a great time. I know so many people commented that our DD was "too little" to enjoy Disney, or "isn't she too young?". Well she may not remember, but we have pictures and video, and we'll certainly remember the priceless look on her face as we rode IASW. So go on and have a great time :D

Just a suggestion, after consulting these boards for weeks before we went to WDW, we decided to buy a Baby Bjorn. And we were so glad we did, because sometimes DD just didn't wanna sit in her stroller and felt more free being carried in the Baby Bjorn. I agree w/ Stacy, it's priceless! Even if you're not using it, we easily stuffed it in the bottom basket of the stroller (although with 2 other kids i don' tknow how much more room you'll have :p ).

Hope you and your family have a magical time!:D

i would defenatly say dumbo and alladin :bounce: :Pinkbounc :jester: there fun a little slow but still fun maybe barnstormer it would probally be too scary though:( ;)

we took ds in january when he was 9 months. he did everything in the mk except the mountains, alien encounter and buzz lightyear (we had other family with us, they watched ds while dh and i battled it out .:teeth: )

we did the safari in ak with him...we also took him in ITTBAB. really we took him into all the shows. they were loud but he didn't seem to mind.

my ds was much to heavy for the bjorn, i think he was about 27lbs then  i did have a hip carrier that i used while waiting in line.

basically he loved it, with all the sights and sounds he had a good time just people watching from his stroller!

We have 7-month old twins and 2 baby bjorn carriers. We will try Disney next week, but we've been on 2 other vacations since they were born and the baby bjorns were a life-saver. Whenever the babies got fussy in the stroller, we just put them in our carriers. Whenever we go on a ride, we put them in our carriers. The airplane -- in our carriers. The baby bjorns are well worth the money, in our opinion.
