I will be around 6 months pregnant when we go in March. I know the obvious ones that are out..Mission Space, Expedition Everest, etc, but what rides will definately be ok?

Is Soarin' a no-no while pregnant? That was one of my favorite rides but I am guessing its one I will have to miss this time.

I am hoping I can at least do all the kiddie type rides with my little ones!

Thanks!

when we went when i was 5 months pregant the ONLY thing i did ride that actully said "do NOT ride while pregnant" was the safari ride, it was very bumpy and i had a 18 month old on my lap! LOL but other then that i didn't risk anything that said do not ride. Soarin wan't there when we went in '04 when i was pregnant, i'm not sure if i'd ride it or not... really you have to think there are reasons they tell pregnant people not to ride this stuff so why risk it??? Anything that your younger kids can go on i think you can too. I think it's mostly only the stuff with high restrictions that say pregnant women should not ride! HTH

I think Soarin is fine. Just stay away from the roller coasters. All the calm boat ride type rides should be fine and fantasyland rides.

Thanks!! I didn't even think about the Safari, but now that I think about it, it was a bumpy ride! I know Soarin' did have restrictions for pregnant women, the ride just seemed so tame (much more a visual ride) but I am not one to chance things so I will most likely be skipping that one too.

I LOVE the shows and kiddie rides so I know I will have a great time regardless. :)

I went to Disney 3 weeks before having my ds and the only rides I bailed out on were...Safari in Animal Kingdom, Pooh in Magic Kingdom and the obvious roller coasters and water slides. I went on Soarin' with no problems. I even went up and asked the cast member if it was okay for me and his words were that it was no different than sitting in a rocking chair. I was so happy to hear that because that was the one ride I couldn't wait to go on.

Have fun!!!

I went on Soarin' when I was 5 months pregnant with DS. There were no signs saying it was dangerous for pregnant women. I was VERY careful and didn't go on anything that had a warning like that. So, I'm sure it'll be fine! I also went on Pooh in MK. Didn't see any signs for that one, either. :confused3 There are tons of rides you can go on, just none of the roller coasters, splash mountain, mission space, tower of terror, or anything really bumpy.
