OK, we have early morning ressies at Crystal Palace for breakfast!:thumbsup2 Right after we eat, we want to hit Fantasy Land. Which ride should we do first?? Let me say that we aren't planning to do Dumbo. What ride should we jump on quick and then maybe get a fastpass for a different one? Trying to be strategic here :goodvibes Thanks!!

Since you are not going on Dumbo, then I would recommend one of two rides, either Winnie the Pooh or Peter Pan ... there is FP available for both of them, so you can get FP for one and ride the other. The lines for those 2 rides tend to get pretty long even in the morning hours. We tend to go to Dumbo first, well my husband and 2 kids go on( I am not a fan of those up and down stomach dropping rides), while they are on the ride and depending on the wait time for Dumbo, I go and get FP for Peter Pan. PP is a must do for us, my kids will pass on Pooh if the line is too long, they are 8 and 5.

Enjoy your trip :wizard:

I would grab a FP for Peter Pan and then ride the caroussel. Since there will be time remaining on your FP I would then hit Pooh or Snow White.

Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White and then some TeaCups

The one with the shortest line..........:rotfl2:

All the the lines in Fantasyland will be about the same wait for the first hour the park is open. Discuss with your family what they'd like to do the most, since this will probably be the shortest line you'll experience your whole trip. Peter Pan was awesome but Pooh was more fun for us. I'd say Pooh is a 10 and Peter Pan is a 9.9 so it really depends on what your kids like the most.

Be careful with Snow White, it isn't called Snow Whites Scary Adventures for nothing. I've heard a bunch of stories of kids not riding any other dark rides after snow white. Depending on how much time you'll have in MK, if you have a FP opportunity that you won't be using (because youre heading to lunch, lets say, or you've done everything you really really want to), I would get a FP for Snow White for just you and try it out and see if it'll scare the kiddos. Its a great ride if they won't get scared.

I go with Peter Pan. That line can become brutal in a short period of time. I learned this by NOT doing Peter Pan second.

Hope you have a great time!

Peter Pan....by th etime the parks been open for like 2 hrs, the line is absolutely brutal at that ride
My advice is do:
Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White and than Phillharmagic

Phillharmagic is very very popular BUT it can hold so many ppl that going to that as the last ride in FL should not be a problem

Definately take them on a few different dark rides and indoor experiences before Snow White. I have some cousions (6,4) who were TERRIFIED the first time they went.

Peter Pan jams up quick, you might want to try that first, and hit the rest of the area afterward. Philharmagic is great also, but you should be able to grab a FP for that one, I think.

:rotfl2: So true. We usually modify our touring plan based on the line wait time. It pays to be flexible. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 As soon as your daughters see the carousel when they enter Fantasyland, they'll want to ride it. My DD5's eyes lit up when she saw the carousel. Mind you, we have a carousel inside our local mall. But, there was just something so magical about Cinderella's Carousel to her. :wizard:

 Since you have "little princesses", my vote would be Cinderella's Carousel for your first ride (like the other post). Plus, it is on your way into Fantasyland through the castle. Then, get FASTPASSES for Peter Pan's Flight. Ride Pooh and then It's A Small World (right across from PPF) while waiting for the PPF FASTPASSES to be valid. My DD5 LOVED IASW. As much as my children love Pooh and Snow White, BOTH rides scared them because of the darkness. We don't plan on riding Snow White's Scary Adventure anytime soon. Which is a big shame. Disney needs to modify that ride big time! :headache:

Okay, in a nutshell:

#1 Cinderella's Carousel
#2 Ride Peter Pan's Flight standy-by (If line is longer than 20 minutes get a FASTPASS.)
#3 If you ride PPF stand-by, Get FASTPASS for Mickey's PhilharMagic
#4 Ride Mad Tea Party (Slow-loading ride.)
#5 Ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (near Tea Cups)
#6 Ride It's A Small World (near Peter Pan's Flight)
#7 Ride Peter Pan's Flight with the FASTPASS or
#7 Use FASTPASS, Watch Mickey's PhilharMagic (By this time you'll want a rest.;) )
#8 Get FASTPASS for Mickey's PhilharMagic (If needed or you did not get one earlier.)

Have a magical trip! :wizard:

First ride at the Magic Kingdom? For me it's the Haunted Mansion.
