Which ride is this?

My mom and I went to US last year and there was one ride she was terrified on and I cannot remember it. We need to avoid it this year and I cannot remember much about it other than the following:

-located in US or IOA
-the ride was in front of a HUGE screen
-it might have been 3D or 3D like (we were not wearing glasses or maybe we were...not sure now that I think of it)
-the car / bench like seating lifted up and went back and forth, dipping up and down almost 90 degrees.
-it had the feeling of a roller coaster
-it definitely was not the Simpsons ride but it was very similar in feeling (yet more 'frightening'
-I want to say it was something like Spiderman (is that possible)?
-I do remember not being able to follow any type of storyline/thinking it was stupid because the ride jumped around and moved so much.
-this was not on a track...there was a HUGE screen in front of us
-the seating was benchlike but you were in a compartment like seat where you could not really look to your side and see your riding companion (there were side panels with speakers I think)

Can someone help?

It was not Simpsons (as I mentioned in my original post) and its not that Minion ride as I distinctly remember both as does she and she liked them both. I checked the Harry Potter ride on youtube and I think ou are right. I just wish I could get a picture of the seats. That would be the clincher. I have to do some googling. It definitely was one of the more advanced rides that you felt like you were flying in/out of things very quickly so I lean towards Harry Potter. The seats really were moving forward and back MUCH MORE than the Simpsons ride. My mom was terrified and the kid before us puked all over themselves and their seat that they had to take that seat/bench out of commission.

The Harry Potter ride is on a track. There are dome like screens in front of you for part of it but not for all of it.

It has to be FJ. When you are on a ride the first tim, and especially when you're scared, memory gets confused.

(See my posts on having to so a google image search for the Rip Ride Rockit ride vehicles because I couldn't figure out how we stayed in our seats and didn't fall to the groin in a gruesome fashion)

The first time or two on FJ I thought the sides of the seat were totally solid, but now I know you can peek through.
