Out of all the restaurants at DLRP which would you say are a "must do".

We have a character breakfst booked at Cafe Mickey and the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show is also booked.

Which others would you recommend as a "must do" ... looked at Walts and it does look great, but my daughter would not really like the food there (also we have a "budget" that I am supposed to stick too !!) Like that will happen !!

Annette's (American Diner) is always good fun, huge portions and won't break the bank. :)

My boys' favourite is Lucky Nugget, great buffet selection and characters.

I love the setting/opulence of the Plaza Gardens restaurant and the buffet lunch there is very reasonable, or there's the Character Tea, which is the cheapest character meal and good fun.

My favourite though is the Blue Lagoon but again it might be difficult to please your little one with the menu, since they changed it for the "Healthy Options" I haven't checked it but suspect mozzarella cheese balls and apple puree will be on there somewhere - yeuch !!!

Thanks for that - my little girl is a traditional child - loves a "Sunday" dinner but doesn't really do pasta or apple puree (blurgh who really would ?)

Think we will have to try Annettes and the Lucky Nugget - have booked our firstnights meal at the Plaza Gardens for the buffet cos it looked sooo nice !

Doesn't Walt's offer a childrens menu?

I'm not sure if it has changed, but they did have a children's menu in June 2007. See I have proof. It's a little hard to read in this small photo, so I listed the choices below (I think you could mix and match choices as well - a menu consisted of 1 starter, 1 main course, 1 dessert, and 1 soft drink):

Menu Dingo
Green Salad
Kid's Burger
Sauteed potatos and vegetables
Cream Caramel

Menu Babmi
Mushroom-shaped boiled egg, tomato and lettuce
Cheese ravioli, cream of tomato sauce
Fruit salad

La Belle et le Clochard
Raw vegetables and cheese
Grilled chicken, spaghetti, and sauteed vegetables
Stewed apple puree with vanilla and cake

We like Anette's and Auberge de Cendrillon. Cafe Mickey is A must for us - always have lunch there on our last day:lovestruc

My favourite restaurants at DLP are Manhattan (however i prefered the old menu), California Grill and Yacht Club. In the parks I think Blue Lagoon is the best, but if you're picky about food I would go for Walts. Off course when you're with kids Cafe Mickey is a must!

We ate there on Saturday and the kids menu is almost the same but the starter is the same for all menus now- green salad, carrot sticks and cherry tomatoes with a dip. The fruit salad has now been changed to fruit with a chocolate sauce dip.

DD loved the chicken (which could be served with chips instead of pasta if you wanted)

We love Walts and eat there nearly every trip.

My incredibly picky (would rather starve to death than eat something weird) daughter, loved Annette's.
