Which restaurants to book first?

I just booked a stay for July 23rd-28th at ASMu with a friend. We have a package with tickets and 1 quick service meal a day and are paying for a table service meal out of pocket each day. Neither one of us is a stranger to Disney, but some of our restaurant choices we haven't eaten at in a long time. Here's what we want to plan:

24th: Yak and Yeti (Dinner)

25th: Rose and Crown (Dinner)

26th: BOG or Crystal Ball (We're fine with any meal for Crystal)

27th: Sci-Fi Theater (Lunch)

Which should we reserve first?

The 23rd is a little up in the air at this point. We plan on going to DS after check in and having dinner there. Probably going to reserve Wolfgang Puck's for now.

28th is up in the air as well. We'll most likely have an early breakfast to use our quick service meal and then we're debating whether or not to have lunch at another resort before driving home. Any suggestions for us? We're not extremely picky people so any type of food will do.

I'm a little underwhelmed with the choices at MK. We'd love to do Crystal, it's above our spending limit for table service meals, but I'd like to do a character meal at least once and I remembered when I ate there a while back the food was good. I've done BOG for lunch before and it was okay, but nothing extremely special. How does dinner compare?

HAve you priced out upgrading to the regular dining plan. I think that someone her on the boards did, they did the math and it worked out cheaper than paying op for table service meals

The early wake up was worth it! We got everything we wanted:

23rd: Wolfgang Puck Cafe (Dinner)
24th: Yak and Yeti (Dinner)
25th: Rose and Crown (Dinner)
26th: BOG (Dinner)
27th: Sci-Fi (Lunch)
28th: Chef Mickey's (Breakfast and our splurge of the trip)

How early did you wake up? I have to book mine tomorrow!

I woke up around 5:45 Tuesday morning just to make sure I wasn't having any computer or phone issues. Then reservations opened at 6 and I was done by 6:10. I didn't have any trouble getting what I wanted. In fact a lot of the hard to get places were still available by 6:45 surprisingly (when I decided to add Chef Mickey's last minute).

I ended up going for the BOG reservation first and then Rose and Crown.

I hope you get everything you want!

I had exactly the same experience this morning when ADRs opened for my 27th July trip.
I managed to secure all the ADR's I wanted at exactly the right times :-)

I went for Rose and Crown first and then Tusker House breakfast. We're skipping BOG based on recent reviews and although Wishes from CG is lovely, we'vedone that previously and want a different perspective this time.

they open at 6 am?
i thought it was at midnight...

ok...setting my alarms for tomorrow..
i'll just keep checking in case it's wrong...

Is Wolfgang puck cafe a TS? Where is that located? I am confused with that and the Express at Disney Marketplace. Do they have the same menu?

Wolfgang has multiple locations at DS, and includes both QS and TS locations. The dining plan PDF lists which is which.

Different menus.
