Which restaurants have special menus on New year's eve?

I'm actually not looking to attend one, but want to avoid making an ADR on New Year's eve at some palces and then be surprised at them only offering a pricey special menu rather than their regular menu.

In particular I'm wondering about Citricos, Jiko or Flying Fish.

I think the only places that do that are the ones that have fireworks views, and Victoria & Albert's.

For NYE the MK is offering a dinner & dessert party at 6:15 & a special dessert party at 10:30 which includes a sparkling non-alcoholic beverage & California Grill usually has a price-fixed menu for NYE which is very expensive. This year the new La Hacienda de San Angel is offering a 6 course NYE menu & there is usually a special dining event at Atlantic Dance Hall. You will find a regular menu just about everywhere else, but some offer extra holiday items.

Citrico's has had a special NYE menu most years we've been but we didn't go last year, it's usually a trio of starters (fixed), salad (fixed), choice of 6 mains, choice of 4 desserts.

I had booked Flying Fish a few months ago. At that time there was no mention of it having a special menu. I got an email today from its manager saying that there was a special menu.
I'm debating keeping the ressie as I have younger kids who may not last through a meal that may take a bit longer than usual. Unfortunately the options for that night are a lot less than when I booked.

Anyone know if Boma has anything special?

Is the special menu sent by Flying Fish for the full restaurant or will they be having a special event in the private room?

I got the e-mail, and also got a call earlier today saying the Flying Fish is opening at 5:00, and was offered the chance to come in 30 minutes earlier than my reservation. No details in the e-mail, but there are no indication it's in the private dining room. I've left Keith Gimbel a voicemail and expect to hear something back tonight. If I had to guess, it's going to be a la carte like the regular menu, just with different choices. Possibly also a generally-available multi-course menu along the lines of the chef's counter.

Update:

Got an e-mail reply for Keith Gimbel, manager of the Flying Fish. The special menu will be:

We will be offering 4 courses with choices for each course. We will have suggested wine pairings for each item.

Still some ambiguity there if it's prix fixe or a la carte, but I would think based on this description it's the former.

He is sending me the menu next week, once it's finalized, and I've been granted permission (heh) to share it. I'll start a new thread once I have it.
