Which restaurants for MK fireworks view?

We'd like to have dinner at a restaurant where we can view the fireworks at MK. I think I remember reading that some restaurants even pipe in the music for the fireworks. We'd love that. Can you suggest one that does this? Thanks!

Go with California Grill or Narcoosee's. On the balcony of the California Grill the music is played, from what I understand. I'm not sure about the music at Narcoosee's.

O'hana has a great view of the fireworks at MK, just request a window seat

Is it better to watch the fireworkd from the resort or from MK itself. It's DBf's first time and I've been to Disney a millions times, but haven't seen wishes yet. We are going to try to get ressie's the first night at Ohana's and since we will be MK all day, we wanted to head back to MK or watch from Poly.

I think that the best view is from Main Street in the MK but there is something to say for seeing the show while enjoying dinner. I have seen them from 'Ohana and from CG and would choose CG if I could. The view of the castle is magical as the sun sets and the fireworks after dinner are as well.

Cali Grill is the best place to see the fireworks outside of MK. However you have to time your ADR just right if you want t shot at a window table. If you don't get one you can still see the fireworks from the observation deck which is just as cool.

We like Ohana to watch the fireworks...you should book your ADR about 1-1 1/2 hours PRIOR to the actual time of MK fireworks...then arrive at the podium about 20 minutes-30 minutes prior to your ADR time and request a window seat with a view of MK...it will usually take you about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to get seated with a window view...sometimes longer (at least at busy times). Take your time while you eat...you can usually count on the fireworks starting about the time you are ready for coffee & desert...they pipe the music into the room & dim the lights...it is BEAUTIFUL to say the least!
