Have there been one or two restaurants that you just have to go to each time you go to Disney? I began thinking of the restaurants we like but would rather try all the different ones than returning to the same one- just curious for you veterans if there's one that sticks out and is a must do every trip.
Thanks!
Tara

For us it's Shula's and ESPN.

We love the steaks at Shula's and since we stay at BWV, ESPN is a great first meal for us.

Restaurantasaurus and Jiko.

It's not fine dining, but we always do the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street every trip. It has been the only restaurant that has been consistent in the 25 years we have been going to WDW.

maybe not every trip, but have had return trips to jiko's, artist point, the plaza(yum!), whispering canyon cafe for breakfast. plus other counter service meals.:p

For DH it's Biergarten, for me the French Bakery shop (they have ham and cheese croissants and fruit/cheese plates so I can eat a whole meal there), for DS it's B&C and Teppenyaki

Marrakesh.

We tend to be in Epcot for dinner and we love this place. Plus, the fact that you can often get in without a PS and without a wait makes it a popular choice for the no-PS nights. So we sometimes end up here twice - once booked, once when we are starving and want to eat.

Cosmic Rays in the MK. I think we ended up here every MK day for lunch last time. So convienent to where we were with little ones (right next to Fantasyland and Buzz). It isn't that there isn't better food in the MK, but we were always rght there.

Ohana's character breakfast. Not as fernetic as Chef Mickey's and close to the Magic Kingdom. Next trip will be #3 for us for this one (including once when it was Minnie's breakfast).

We've booked a return trip to Narcoosee's this next trip. I love the atmophere there.

I thought we were boring going to the same places all of the time. Since we vacation in WDW from 4-6 times a year, we visit our favorites ALOT!

50s Prime Time (at least twice each visit)
Hollywood & Vine (once to twice each visit--depending on length)
The Plaza (at least twice each visit)
Always Boatwright's for breakfast a couple of times.

I have ressies for each of my favorites for our trip in a couple of weeks, twice at each place and going to visit Trail's End at least twice since we are staying at the Contemporary.

My DH and DD MUST have a Casey's hotdog from MK. Also, (not a meal) we usually stop at the Main Street Bakery on the way out of MK.

Crystal Palace, Casey's Corner, and the House of Blues. We never miss these on our trips!

In no order

1900 Park Faire
Teppanyaki
Akershus
GF Cafe
Narcoossee's
Le Cellier
Just to name a few

CRT
Garden Grill
Casey's
Cosmic Ray
Main Street Bakery

Boatwright's and Trail's End for breakfast

San Angel for lunch or dinner

Boma for dinner

After trying Kona Cafe in 9/01 for breakfast & dinner we returned...

7/02 breakfast, take out lunch & dinner(1 day/night in WDW)
8/02 take out lunch & dinner
And plan to return
8/03 dinner
12/03 dinner & possibly breakfast.

Also Chef Mickeys breakfast in 98, 00, 01, and plan to go back next month.

Boma (six times in two years (2) dinner, (4) breakfast)
Cape May Buffet (dinner)
Yachtsman Steak House (our special night out)
Prime Time Cafe (best full service MGM)
Kringla Bakeri (best dessert spot at Epcot)

Always do....House of Blues at some point during our trip and the very last meal is Crystal Palace. Traditional.

We're always torn between trying new places and returning to old favorites. For us, the favorites list includes:

Beaches and Cream at the Yacht and Beach Club. We've been there so many times that one of the waitresses always comes over to say hello when we visit.

Crystal Palace - great food and atmosphere.

Cosmic Ray's - terrific toppings bar.

Sci-Fi drive in - great concept and good food too.

Tusker House - great place to escape the heat and crowds. We usually do a mid-morning snack there and then return later for lunch.

Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace

A couple of places we've only done once but plan to return to are Boma and 1900 Park Faire.

Biergarten--all of our regular group--sometimes more than once!
Crystal Palace--me & DH
Akershus--parents in law
Cosmic Rays--all of us
Boatwrights if we are staying there

off site--Jungle Jims

There is several that we like including Beaches and Cream, Brown Derby, Garden Grill BUT the one that we won't miss is LeCellier. My DH loves their Northern Lights drink and I love their spring greens salad. (along with their cheese soup, bread sticks and steak).
