Which restaurant?

Hollywood & Vine or Mama Melrose? It will be myself & 2 ds age 11 & 9. Any feedback on which you would choose would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We were always happy with the selections at Hollywood & Vine until this past trip. We were there in June and my DS (now 15) could barely find anything he could eat. He is somewhat fussy, but have never had this problem at H&V or any other Disney buffet in the past. I also found few selections that I liked and ended up eating a LOT of salmon. He did enjoy the desserts, but after this past experience we will not eat at H&V again.

I perfer plated fresh meals to buffets, so I would choose Mama Melrose.

I was very disappointed with H&V last year. I thought it was awful....and would never go back. I thought the selections were poor (found myself eating mac & cheese from the kids section!), and the food not that great. We did it b/c it was the only restaurant with availability for the Fantasmic Dinner package.

But, I have never eaten at Mama Melrose. I have heard good things, though.

For some reason, I have not yet tried Hollywood and Vine. I have been to Mama Melrose several times and I enjoyed it a lot. MM has good food/wine choices and a relaxed atmosphere. We typically go there for lunch so I cannot really comment on Dinner.
