we are going to be going in May and staying at the hrh we were wondering which restaurant might be better to try...we are considering Mythos, Confisco's or Lombardi's??? we're thinking lunch time??Or is the breakfast better at Confisco's with the characters? We have 3 children traveling with us...14, 12, and 8:goodvibes

i love mythos.

lombards can be good. nice atmosphere there.

confisco, are you talking about the character breakfast?
or just grabbing something there?

stick with mythos if you can only choose one place.
sometimes it closes at 3 so check in advance and make a ressie the week before you plan to go there.

Without a doubt, if you can only do one of those places, I would recommend Mythos.

If you have two days, however, to enjoy lunch at IOA, Confisco's is good, too. Their fries are pretty neat -- as an appetizer, that is. They come out in a snow-cone type of holder and have dipping sauces. I can't comment on breakfast or dinner at Confisco's.

Lombard's we've eaten at once. It was good, but we much prefer Finnegan's over at US.

But if you're only able to do one day, Mythos absolutely.

Another vote for Mythos. We eat there at least 1x every trip. The only excepting being last June when DD and I took a day trip over to USO when we were in Orlando for a TKD tournament.
Lombards is ok, nothing great. If we visiting USO for a week we will do one lunch there. Our favorite spot in US is Finnegan's. Confisco's we've only done for breakfast. It was fun, nothing amazing food wise, but I would probably do it again in the future.

Mythos opens at 11:30am.

It's good to take a lap around IOA going clockwise. By 11:30am you'll be near Mythos and the wait isn't that bad. When you walk up to the greeter, ask for a table in front of the big window. You may have to wait an extra 10 minutes, but it's worth it. Take leftovers back to your room to snack on. When you leave Mythos, you'll feel like you watched a movie.

You've got to try Mythos. We eat there at least twice every vacation. The bread alone is worth the trip. When it is really warm out, we like to eat outside on the back veranda.
