Trying to decide which restaurant to go for our last night at WDW which is Christmas Eve. I have a family of 10, including one 12 year old and a 2 year old grandson. My picks were between Califronia Grill, Le Cellier or Liberty Tree Tavern. We will probably do these restaurants anyways, but I just wanted to pick the one with the best atmosphere for that night. Liberty Tavern wasn't in the run off until I read about the family style with traditional food. We are doing the dining plan so we can work anything out. Was hoping to do California Grill and catch the Wishes Show if it's not too late, or be at Epcot Le Cellier where maybe the crowds won't be so bad? What to do? And will I even get my first choice when I make my PS? This is our first time there so I am clueless!!!

We really enjoy California Grill but I would choose Le Cellier or another Epcot restaurant and do it with the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package. There is a thread about the CP being include in the dining plan. I've not read the thread as it doesn't pertain to our family but the CP is wondrous. I would do the CP plan whether it is included or not. I can not tell you how moving the processional is and it would be a perfect way to mark Christmas Eve.

We have the same dilema, Where to eat??? on Christmas eve and New Year's eve, there are 18 in our party, when can we make reservations? The CM says it has to be from sept.20th on. I'm happy to hear your comments. Thanks.

For the Candlelight Processional dinners, you can book earlier than 90 days. Just watch the boards. When it opens up, lots of people will be posting about it.

Another idea would be Hoop Dee Doo. It is such a fun show and would make a great memory for your large group. The two times we've been in WDW for NYE, that has been our choice as we didn't want to go into the parks.

Thanks everyone for your input. I just found out through another thread that my MYW dining package included the Candlelight Procession. I was originally told by Disney personally. :earboy2: that it wasn't. So I decided to call Disney again after reading that thread just tonight and sure enough they changed their mind. Wow! :cheer2: You cannot imagine how happy I am. We picked Le Cellier, for Christmans Eve. I couldn't be happier. That was my original plan until I was told no tickets on your plan. When I figured out how much more we would have had to pay, it came to over 400.00 dollars for my family of 9. I couldn't justify that price, so I thought we would have to stand in line or just forgo it. We are still going to go to the California Grill on another night of course and use 2 vouchers for that. Hopefully we can catch the fireworks to boot! Hey Helena we are going from the 20th to the 25th to the POFQ. Hope you have a great time too. Isn't this quite over whelming? But this site and Mousepad have been awesome for information. Thanks everyone again!! :cool1:
PS: I forgot to tell you that I quick picked Le Cellier and called right away knowing that I'd be lucky to get an ADR, since reservations have been open for almost 2 weeks. Couldn't believe that I did get them. :rotfl:
