Which Restaurant do you think for Thanksgiving day?

I've heard the special holiday buffet at the Disneyland hotel is wonderful. Spendy, but wonderful.

As much as I love D/L, Thanksgiving is 'kinda' my day. I help my dw start dinner, then it's FOOTBALL. :cool1: Watch the Lions kick fanny, and watch Dallas lose.(finger crossed) ;) So pretty much it's pretty much 'chez mrs darph' :thumbsup2

Thats why I am so glad we are going this year. This will be the 1st time in years I will not have to cook!!! :cool1: :yay:

Thanksgiving day last year was packed! We looked at doing the DH buffet but decided ahead of time that we would not leave the park that day just in case it filled up and closed. It closed around 11am! I don't know when they let people back in but we were told if we left, we might not be able to return so we stayed in DL the whole day. The following day, it closed even earlier at around 10:30!

We had PS at Blue Bayou for lunch and loved it. They upped the normal prices though for the holiday a little at lunch and a LOT at dinner which is why we picked lunch. For dinner much later, we went to Carnation Cafe and they had a great turkey dinner, pumpkin pie, all the traditional foods. All of the restaurants seemed to have a turkey dinner. I was so so glad to have made PS for both lunch and dinner that day INSIDE the park and would suggest the same but maybe try out the new Cafe Orleans if BB seems too pricey.

I suggest making plenty of PS for the whole time you are there over TKGV. It was just packed and people were waiting really long to eat. We were so glad to have those PS times set aside to take a breather without having to wait. The carnation cafe line went all the way back to the bathroom and then back again out to main street. We walked right in and got a perfect table with our PS!

ALL RIGHT!! My Ex mil figured out years ago, it would cost less to go someplace else than cook it herself. ;) Don't get me wrong, for some weird reason I still like her. :confused3 But if you don't have to cook, cool!
