Just wondering which restaurant chains are offering gift card promotions this year. I know one year Applebees gave you a $5 gift card for every $25 gift card you bought. Anyone know which ones are having promotions this year?

In the Atlanta area the basic promotion is 20% bonus on gift cards and a lot of different restaurants are offering it. We bought 2 $50 gift cards to Rays Restaurants and got $60 on each one.

Last night when I was in Friendly's I noticed that they are offering a $5 gift card when you buy $25 in gift cards.
Taco Bell is offering a free large soda with the purchase of any gift card. Wendy's had a sign for a free order of french fries with the purchase of a gift card.

IHOP and Steak n' Shake come to mind...$5 coupon for every $25 GC (IHOP) and $20 GC (SnS) purchased...

This year's Applebee's promotion requires that you buy $50 worth of gift cards (either one $50 or two $25) to get a $10 bonus card. You can't use the bonus card the same day you purchase the gift cards, and it expires at the end of February 2011.

This year's Rubios is not as good as it has been. Get $5 GC when you buy $50. Last year it was $5 for every $25. I didn't buy any this year.

Del Taco (for those of you who are lucky enough to live near one-so much better than Taco Bell) has a GC promo. Get 2 free tacos with $10 GC , 2 free chicken soft tacos with $15 GC (that's what I got), and one free menu item with $20 GC. I also noticed that if you reload the card ($25)you will get a coupon good for any combo.

Macaroni Grill (and Chilis) are offering $5 with $25 GC purchase.

Eat 'n Park has buy $25 get a $5 free.. but you have to use the $5 free by end of January. I think Steak and shake has a similar one, not sure if you have to buy $20 or $25.

I did a quick look at their websites. Appears Outback is $20 card if you buy $100. Olive Garden doesn't appear to have anything.

Yes! We have already bought two of these. They let us buy the gift card and use the value basket coupon that day, but they dont expire for a year. The double burger basket is close to $7 so its a great deal. Probably gonna go back for one more We go there for ice cream a lot in the summer.

If you are a Sam's Club member, they are selling Outback gift cards for a discounted price.

We bought a $25 gift card for BD's Mongolian BBQ and got a "Go Mongo" card worth $5 (similar to a GC, I guess) which can be used throughout 2011.
