Which restaraunt for DS's 7th Birthday Party?

I get such great advice from this board so....

I was hoping you could help me chose a restaraunt for my son's 7th birthday. In 2006 we did Chef Mickey for late breakfast based on info from this board. We loved the "celebration" and the characters were great. They paraded around and made quite a show.The chef even came out and took pictures with our family.

Is there another restaraunt that does something similar? Does Chef Mickey still do this? Any suggestions would be

Ohana Best Friends Breakfast at the POLY--so fun--there's a parade for the kids with the characters through the restaurant--Characters are Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto.

Donalds Safari Breakfast--Tusker House at AK park--also has a parade--Characters are: Donald, Daisy and Goofy.

The Food, the atmosphere at both of these restaurants were wonderful.

Sneaking in here because we're looking for options for our son's 7th birthday as well.
Since we've ruled out trying to have a birthday cake at dinner, that options up breakfast as a character option. Ohana sounds like a fun - and yummy - breakfast!

If we decide to go with dinner, right now I'm leaning towards the Garden Grill ... but I also change my mind every other day. lol.

Chef Mickey's sounds fun, but I'm also worried that because it's so popular, it will be super crowded during free dining.

Good thing I have lots of time to decide.

I've booked O'Hana's for my DS 7th Birthday Breakfast! I think I'm going to order a small Lilo and Stitch cake too. We like the characters that will be there and from what I've read, there's alot of interaction and stuff that goes on. Have fun deciding!

We have had birthday celebrations for our kids at Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace (they decorated the table with streamers and confetti) and 'Ohana -- all were a lot of fun. One of my favorites, though was a non-character meal. For my son's 5th Birthday we ate at Whispering Canyon - the server brought him dessert with a candle then invited all the children in the restaurant over to our table and they all sang Happy Birthday to him -- it was priceless.
