Just wondering if you have ever spotted any celebrities staying in the same WDW hotel as you?

When I was there last week, the manicurist at Mandara Spa said she often does mani/pedi's for Oprah when she visits WDW and Oprah always stays at the GF.

Our waiter at California Grill said Muhammad Ali used to come alot and he stayed at the Contemporary with his family.

I once read that Britney Spears likes to stay at AKL with her kids.

Anyone know of any others?

I'm guessing most of them stay in suites, but I wonder if any celebs utilize the concierge lounges amongst regular guests.

Thanks!:goodvibes

considering this is a resort question, you may get more responses if you posted on the Resorts Board :thumbsup2

DD did the College Program for a year and she said a lot of celebrities tend to love the Yatch Club - she said that Michael Douglas and his family stayed there.

Neil Patrick Harris stayed in the Asanti Suite at the Animal Kingdom Lodge a few weeks ago when he was there for the CP.

I think most stay at POP Century, back side of 90's building, floor 2, close to the ice machine as possible.

That's funny. The manicurist at Mandara told my wife the same thing when we were down a few weeks ago.

One of the (very) few times I watched Oprah, she was staying at the Grand Floridian. The characters knocked on her door and she was so "surprised" to see them, even tho the camera crew was obviously already in her suite to film the whole thang. hullo?

We stayed at the AKL once and Kelly Ripa was staying there.

I've heard that Regis only stays at the Grand Floridian.

DH shared an early morning elevator (to the lobby for coffee) at the BC with Al Roker.

Yes, I know there's a coffee pot and supplies in the room, but guys seem to want to get out of the room and roam while DW stakes a claim to the bathroom!

January 2011, Mick Foley semi-retired pro-wrestler and author was at Kidani Village, stayed just down the hallway from us and was very friendly, always said “hello” to the children and I. And Steve Harvey was staying at Jambo House at the same time, we saw him checking in when we were there for dinner. He had a huge entourage.

On my most recent trip, I stayed at BLT. :rotfl:

Once at club level breakfast at the AKL, I saw a few soap stars. It was back when they had Super Soap Weekends at DHS. I'm not a soap fan, so I can't name names. My friend recognized them, though.

I saw the guitarist for 3 Dog Night and his family checking out at the Boardwalk Inn a couple of years ago, when the band was performing at the Food & Wine Festival. Michael something, red hair.

Michael Jackson was obsessed with the CR at one point in time, and it was rumored that there was a suite named for him.

Way back, I think it was 1975, John Lennon stayed at the Poly. Back then it was a choice of the Poly or the Contemporary. That was it.

Of course, the ultimate celebrity visit was in 1993, when Princess Diana stayed at the GF with Prince William, Prince Harry and entourage.

They stay at all the deluxe resorts especially Club Level and suites.

I know it varies. Sam Brown stayed at the Beach Club while there for the parade taping. I know a number of the lesser stars (like Disney Channel shows) often stay at AKL. I forget who but I remember one saying they liked Boardwalk. And a number of celebs are DVC owners.
