Which resorts are on the monorail?

I'm thinking that it would be so great to be able to get my girls (age 4) back to the room quickly from MK (we'll spend most of our time there) in case they become exhausted and need a nap (which I'm sure WILL happen! LOL).

I can't seem to find anything clear on the WDW website, so I thought I'd check with the REAL experts!

grand floridian, polynesian, contempary. but there are also the resorts that are a boat ride to mgm and epcot which are the boardwalk. beach and yacht club

Thanks! So, forgive my ignorance, but those which are a boat ride to Epcot and MGM, can you get on the monorail at those parks, or were you just mentioning that those parks would be close to the resorts you mentioned?

Our first trip we stayed at poly. Know that the mono only goes to epcot and MK. We found that it wasn't the greatest thing in the wolrd.

We have eeen happy with the bus system.

You can boat ride from WL to MK. If you stay at The CR, Poly or GF then you can catch the monorail to the MK or to the TTC where you would have to switch monorails to get to Epcot. The map should help you see where everything is situated.

no you can not get on the monorail from them but they are close to the parks i mentioned. you can hope the monorail from epcot to mk if need bejust a fellow disboarder trying to give you more opptions if you need them. if you want to stay close to a park

We have never stayed at a resort along the Boardwalk and never knew that there was a boat from there to MGM. I guess we can all learn something on the Disboards.

We stayed at the Poly in July, which was wonderful especially w/ dd3 who was 2 at the time we were close to the TTC so we just walked to the monorail to epcot rather than wasting 30-45 mins riding on the monorail and then having to go down and up the ramps at TTC. The rooms have been renovated and are nice. My next choice would be the Contemporary Tower room w/ MK view.
