Which resorts are more child friendly

I am beginning to plan our 2010 trip and curious to know which resorts ya'll suggest as being the most kid friendly. I would like to stay in one of the villa. We will be traveling with mother and father in law aind we have 2 DD will be 6 and 4 at the time. Also we may have brother in law and his wife and their DS4 at the time as well. I would love to stay at AKL savanna view but I know that is a lot of budgeting to do. Any other suggestions??

I honestly think that all the resorts are child-friendly -- it's Disney!

When choosing a hotel, we pick a theme we like, or a feature (like the great pool at the Yacht & Beach Clubs, the animals at AKL, etc.) and go with that!

The YC & BC have lots of activities for kids at the pool, plus waterslides and a big sandy play area. Our DD loves it there!

We haven't stayed at AKL yet but are planning to. There is lots of information in the official AKL thread, including a long list of activities they offer for the kids.

I'm sure other people here will have great suggestions, too!

I completely agree with mmmears. Every resort where we have stayed has been kid-friendly in its own way.
Some of our favorites:
AKL was our favorite resort overall. The kids loved seeing all of the animals and the pool was terrific.
Beach Club in in an awesome location and Storm-A-Long Bay pool was a highlight for my children.
CSR was also terrific - great pool and enjoyed the food court.

It's Disney! All the resorts are kid friendly, even the ones that have a reputation as being "snooty" (generally, GF and YC). We have stayed at YC a dozen times, starting when the kids were infants, and never felt in any way that kids were less welcome there than at any other resort.

I agree with the above posters that they are all Disney friendly.
My kids love the Epcot resorts and there pools.
