For a family of 7 you will need either 2 adjoining rooms or a villa. Families seem to rave about the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. Depending on the ages of your kids, you may want to stay at one of the resorts on the monorail, however (Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Contemporary). I LOVE the GF and also the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I think two adjoining savanna view rooms at AKL would be awesome as well- especially if the idea of animals appeals. Personally, I would read up on the different resorts and pick the one that is most appealing to you and then see if they offer Villas. Otherwise go with 2 rooms. Disney rooms hold 4 or 5 guests only.
