Which resort?

We arent going til next year BUT here is my dilema...I have 3 kids but only 2 will be going on this trip so we will be a family of 4, right now we wanna stay 9 nights.... would you do less nights and stay at AKL, WL or do all 9 nights and stay at POR?

I'm sure I am in the minority, but I would do less nights and stay at AKL or WL. We stayed at one moderate (CBR) and while we loved the resort and had a fabulous stay, once we tried a deluxe we haven't stayed anything else since. We are a deluxe family and love the deluxe resorts for larger rooms, TS options, alternate transportation options, and close proximity to other deluxe resorts for a variety of dining and shopping options. With that said, we do spend a lot of time at the resort (more time than at the parks), so the resort plays a big part when planning our trip.

I would go with 9 nights at POR. If you think about it, how much time are you spending at your resort? youre not at your resort enough to justify the extra cost, at least thats how i see it. Everyone is different. I'd always choose the option that gave me money time in Disney.

the reason I would be leaning towards WL is because since we are a family of 5, we usually cant stay there so being able to seems like a good idea BUT with the middle kiddo being9 this may be our last trip before we have 4 disney adults and we may not be taking a trip any time soon :/

I would go with 9 nights at POR. If you think about it, how much time are you spending at your resort? youre not at your resort enough to justify the extra cost, at least thats how i see it. Everyone is different. I'd always choose the option that gave me money time in Disney.

We'd always go for the longer stay; plus POR is our favorite moderate hotel.

I would do the 9 at POR. A) I would always stay at Disney for as long as possible and B) we love POR! While I can justify the price difference between a value and a moderate, I've never been able to justify the difference from moderate to deluxe. That and we can't really find a theme we love, combined with a great location. I'd love to do one of the Epcot resorts in the future, but for now I'll stick with POR!

I love POR too. We have stayed at the Poly before and loved it BUT we did CL years ago with a 40% code for 5 days 4 nights and its the same price as a 9 day trip at a mod

Stay longer at PO it is a nice resort and as others have said you only need a room to sleep and take a shower. PO is one of my favorite resorts.

Definitely the 9 nights at POR stay at Disney as long as you can! Create more memories!
