Looking for opinions for a friend, which resort do you consider has the best pool, best room, and/or best food court?

TIA!

Tell us about your friend.....kids? ages? swimmers? time of year? etc.?

Best Pool: Yacht and Beach Club, The rooms are good they don't have a food court.
Best Rooms: Polynesian, The pool is good and it does not have a food court
Best Food Court: Pop Century, The rooms are OK and the Pools are OK

I love the food court and pool at Coronado Springs. As for rooms, I love the rooms at the Beach Club and Wilderness Lodge - and the fact that everything is in one building. They both have great pools as well. The rooms at the Poly are great (and the pool there is very cool - but there are no hot tubs), but I'd suggest looking at a resort map to request a room close to the Great Ceremonial House. The last time we stayed there, it was a bit of a walk.

For me the both the pool and food court would have to be CSR. The Pepper Market variety & quality is so much better than the other food courts.

And the Dig site is fantastic!

2 adults, 6 year old son who loves to swim. More than anything, I think a good food court and a good pool is most important to them.

Thanks so far for all the great info!

CSR for a moderate! Check out my CSR website below for pics and info.

I have not stayed at as many Disney resorts as you have!

But. I have a DS7 and we loved POR. The Ole Man Island pool is wonderful with the water slide and all the water spraying everywhere. DS also loved the playground and fishin' hole. Also he and DH rented a boat one day and loved it and I think there is still a kid's jester cruise that sails 2 or 3 times per week from POR as well. The food court has lots of choices at all the different stations. But one of DS's favorite pastimes at POR....chasing geckos.

All in all I think POR is very "deluxe" for a moderate.

We normally stay at CBR - but with the pool refurbishment that is currently underway I would vote for POR. The pool was WONDERFUL and the food court was good!!! (I believe that the POR is where we may be staying this summer.):yay:
