Which resort would you pick and why?

We have never stayed at either and want your opinions, pros, cons on Coronado or Caribbean?

We haven't stayed at CSR, it hasn't appealed to me. But we did stay at CBR in Jamaica. We were next to quiet pool and across parking lot from bus stop. It was a short and pleasant walk to bridge over to food court. We enjoyed our stay. At the time of our stay, Jamaica was usually first bus pick up.
At CBR & CSR both being large resorts around a lake with only one bridge, location can make or break your stay.
Our fav moderate is POR. But CBR is very nice.

Both are large spread out resorts. We enjoyed both. I recommend preferred locations in either.

Having stayed at both for me it's hands down CSR. We wouldn't stay at CBR again.

CBR didn't have elevators and that made my husbands loading the car at 6:30 am on departure day especially hard. We also received poor service from the bell hop and front desk both checking in/out, but that can happen anywhere. Any resort can be having an "off" time. With so many hotels available on property we just don't have a need to give them another try.

CBR did have a great pool though, especially for kids!

Our stay at CSR was excellent, resort is beautiful and staff was informed and helpful.

Agreed! We have stayed in standard rooms at CBR in Jamaica and never found the walk difficult at all! In fact we liked walking around the lovely grounds. I realize that not everyone agrees, but we like the spaciousness of the more spread out resorts. It feels like you have somewhere to go and explore at your own resort. Plus, if you don't like to walk you can just book a preferred location and have the convenience of close proximity to everything!

This is how we feel, too, which is probably why we loved CBR so much .

We stayed at CBR when I was 9 (1994). I loved it so much that I got annoyed when my parents took me to the parks.

I've stayed at the CBR many times.. I love the feeling there... so tropical and relaxing.

CSR is the only place I've stayed (all two times I've stayed on property), so I cannot compare. I can only say that it holds a special place in my heart. I'm interested in trying other resorts (mostly the deluxes via renting DVC), but I wouldn't hesitate to head back to CSR. Good food court, two TS restaurants, awesome main pool, nice quiet pools, lovely atmosphere, good bus service.

I've stayed at both resorts and enjoyed both. I'm choosing to return to CSR for our first family trip with the kids.

My reasons are...
- CSR is the most centrally located
- the bus service is above average
- the size is more manageable than CBR, POR
- the kids will love the pool & waterslide
- there are multiple dining options

Stayed at all the moderates (see signature) and without any other info about you, I would pick CSR every single time over CBR.
