Which Resort to Stay at?

HI,

We need a room that will sleep 6 people. There will be 3 adults, 1 jr, 2 kids. Our family (the 4 of us) always stay at the Carribean. But this trip we are bringing a friend and her daughter. What do you recommend?

I could be wrong but I think the only places that will allow 6 are DVC properties. Some of the deluxe have suites but I am not sure how many people fit. I am sure someone else here on this great board can give more accurate info.

A DVC 2 bedroom would work but it's expensive. If you like CBR, I would get 2 rooms and request connecting. Your friend & daughter may like their own room. A Ft. Wilderness cabin can occupy 6 but it would be cramped and only 1 bathroom.

Folks here also often post that you can get two rooms at the AllStars for a very reasonable nightly rate. This give you two bathrooms. My family stayed at the cabins a year ago and we loved them. My parents were with us so we were 6. We did have to share the bathroom but we did OK. The Murphy bed is not huge but the cabin has a kitchen and living area and is just so cute... My kids LOVED it. Definitely NOT camping -- it is spotless, air-conditioned, and the maids come every day!

Some folks also rent points from a DVC member. This is a way to get a reasonable price on a giant room at OKW. Check out the rent/trade board here for info.

I second that idea! The rooms are supposed to be very large and you'd still get a tropical type theme.
