Flying down in 5 weeks, arriving around noon and staying at CBR.

I love the CBR food court, but am considering hopping on a bus to another resort to eat at their food court (the birds at WL are something out of a Hitchcock movie)

Any recommendations?

I love, Love, LOVE! Gasparilla Grill at the Grand Floridian. We went there for the first time in July. The Cuban Sandwich was hot, fresh and delicious. It was actually better than the one I had a Bongos Cuban Cafe from the previous trip. My husband got a BBQ pork flatbread, which he said was awesome. Then I got a S'mores cupcake too. It may have been my favorite of the trip, better than the Oreo one from Boardwalk Bakery.

We fell in love with the Landscape of Flavors - Art of Animation food court.

After a week in the parks one likes to have options outside of the standard hamburger and chicken strip realm. My personal favorites were the make your own pasta creations and the make your own salads. It was something different and guaranteed to be filled with things that you like since you pick all the ingredients.

My kids kept asking to eat there, my daughter (11 at the time) and I easily split the pasta entree between us. It was a nice way to conserve counter service credits.

I was not a huge fan of the surf and turf burger. It was ok, but not fabulous. That was my only disappointment in the 3 meals we had there.

Bonus - the gelato you can get for dessert and the toppings bar you get to pick for that as well. If you're on the dining plan and get the dessert included they will let you come back after you've eaten to get your gelato so that it doesn't melt. Just tell the cashier. They also have a bakery case full of goodies.

My son also got a strawberry banana smoothie for breakfast one morning. It was really good!

I agree that Gasparilla's is pretty good but I also like the food court at POR - their pasta station is awesome!

We have fallen in love with Captain Cooks pulled pork sandwich !

OMG, it was so good ! totally different twist on pulled pork, I already know I'm getting it again in June

Other than that, POR has a great pasta bar, the servings are good and plenty, it's the type where you keep eating and eating and eating

All of the monorail resorts have respectable QS meals. I personally enjoy Contempo Cafe at CR....they have a very wide variety of foods so everyone can find something to choose from. And, its pretty tasty, too.

Capt Cookes at the Poly has great food! Also love The Mara at AKL.

Agreed as to POR! Their design your own pasta and salad were two of the best meals we had on our entire trip, food-wise (and we ate at BOG, CRT, Ohana, and Tusker House).

Just don't go during prime breakfast hours. The place is a madhouse. During lunch and non-peak times, it was very nice.

Be warned.... traveling from resort to resort via Disney transportation is a hassle. It takes a lot of time. If you are renting a car, that is the way to go.
