which resort has better bus transportation?

Overall GF or POR. We plan on going to all the parks, DQ, DTD & both water parks.

I think POR buses go to various stops at both French Quarters and Port Orleans. GF does share now and then with WL, but you also have the monorail at the GF, which is handy for MK (hate it for Epcot, though).

POR has excellent bus service, plus the boats to DTD is a great extra.

Two advantages with the GF: you can take the monorail to the MK and be there in a couple of minutes, and when you come out of the other parks the GF bus will be closer to the park exit than the PO bus.

Having said that, we've stayed at POR twice and we found the bus service excellent, as Heffalump said above.

Not a huge problem, but a few times, only in the morning when the parks were opening, by the time they got to the last POR stop the bus would be full. We always go in the summer, this probably wouldn't be a problem at other times of the year.

They don't always do that. During the morning, they use Magic On Demand. Buses get dispatched to the various stops based on demand. Buses can start at any stop. So just because a bus doesn't make all the stops doesn't mean that a bus didn't go there.

Thank you Tyler. Your always such a big help. So...if I have a PS at MK for 8:00. Would I get there in time? or do I have to wait until the demand is higher & they dispatch enough buses.

They all have the same glitches and snafus. When you average everything out, they are all the same. Which is why it's important to pick a resort based on theming, and not transportation.
