1. Beaches and Cream is located at the Beach Club.

2. She can valet park for $6 or self park for free.

Which resort are you staying at? If you are staying at the BC then the lobby of the resort would be the best place to meet.

1. Beaches and Cream is part of the YC/BC complex.

2. You can park in the lot for either resort

3. I don't think you have to pay unless you use valet

4. B&C is located by SAB so to get there you have to walk straight through either resort and out the back way. A good place to meet would be by the lighthouse.

Have fun & try the kitchen sink!

Wow, thanks for the quick replies!

What is SAB?
We are staying at ASMO. I wonder how busy it gets? Do you have long waits? Maybe we should plan on meeting there? We are doing the Pirate cruise in the morning, so we won't get to MGM until after 12:00. We hadn't planned on doing fantasmic, so I am guessing we would try and make it for something like 6:00. MGM closes at 7:00 with fantasmic starting at that time. I wanted to avoid the rush of people leaving MGM that might plan on going there as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

OH, and how can I get driving directions to the resort for her???
Thanks!!!

It gets VERY busy at B&C. It is a very small restaurant with approx. 4 booths, 5 or 6 tables and stools at the counter. We went twice during our September trip and the first wait was 45 minutes and the second was an hour. The first time, we just took the kids into the arcade next door and let them play some games while we waited (they give you a beeper to carry with you to let you know when your table is ready). The second time, it was our last day and we didn't want to wait an hour.

I know people on this board rave about B&C but we weren't overly impressed. I found the food menu to be very limited. And although the decor is cute and the ice cream sundaes are good, I just didn't think it was necessarily worth a 45 minute to 1 hour wait. We were much more impressed with the Dolphin Fountain restaurant in the Dolphin hotel.

JMHO....

Try to make a PS for your trip to Beaches and Cream. If you & your guests have not been to YC/BC or BWV, it is a nice way to relax and explore these resorts. You may want to consider working your B&C experience in with a dinner at one of these resorts. Also, if you're going to either Epcot or Disney Studios with your friend, you can walk from those parks to YC/BC for your treat at B&C.

You can't do PS's at Beaches : )

I would have your friend meet you at Allstars..if you ask at the desk they will give you a paper for her dash board to keep her car there. She just has to tell the guard at the gate that she is meeting you. That way, if the weather turns bad, or someone isn't feeling up to par..for whatever reason, you aren't out in limbo.
Then you can go over in one car, or take a bus to DTD, and take a bus to the resort from there. We always ask first before having a guest use the bus, but we've never been turned down.

We have also had great luck at both Allstars and POR when we have guests, asking if they can join us at other activities at the resort we are staying at.

We won't have time to go back to the Asmo. We will be coming over from MGM. hmmmm, I'll have to think on this one.

oh, I didn't realize you weren't going to be at Asmo. Then I would just meet her in the lobby..it's not that big, and easy to spot someone. You can take the boat from MGM, if you want to leave your car there (at MGM). You'll get off right near Beaches, if she wants to meet you there.
