Thinking of planning a quick weekend trip with my two boys (7).
We will be swimming and hanging at the hotel.

Which resort would be best?
Which had the most kids activities?
Thanks!

If they're comfortable in water (not fearful), go for BCV, they have organized activities for the kids in the pool during certain times of the day. They also have a movie on the beach at night with a firepit for makin' smores.

AKV with all the animals (and some good pools as well) would be a good choice.

Not to be sarcastic, but you will be at Disney World! What is not to like? There will be magic everywhere you turn if you have the right perspective. Kids think everything down to the Kleenex is cool at WDW! Don't sweat it! Just make your ressie and enjoy! By the way, I am partial to BCV. Have owned there for 8 years. Never been disappointed! :thumbsup2

Only stayed at Kadini and SSR. Both have great pools! We really liked SSR because it was a fun boat ride to Downtown Disney. We also loved Kadini! The pool was awesome, especially the kids play area, and it was really awesome for the kids to see the animals. Although I've only been to these two resorts, I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of the resorts.

If the kids are good enough swimmers that you can trust the lifeguards and not watch them every moment, then I'd recommend BCV. (As you've probably heard, its wonderful pool is so sprawling and filled with interesting eddies that it's easy for kids to wander out of sight of your deck chair.) You also get the advantage, if you have an all-parks pass, of popping in and out of Epcot--which has a lot of restaurants--for the main meal each day.

I noticed when at SSR that there was a lot of activity at the community hall for the kids and also games at the pool that they seemed to enjoy. Then as PP said you could take the boat or walk to DTD for a visit to the Lego store and some kind of snacks or meals there or maybe a visit to Disney Quest if they are into that type of activity. AKV also seemed to have a great kids program and a fun pool suitable for all types of swimmers plus being able to see the animals. Of course as a DVC member you should be able to pool hop if you don't get the resort of first choice with of course the exception of at BCV, BLT, and AKV. Hope you have a fun time.

Thanks all!
Right now they only have availability at SSR. Glad to hear everyone enjoyed it. Might go with that one. Have not stayed there yet! Really wanted AKV, but not available.
