Which resort for December 2016 trip?

We are planning to rent DVC for a December 2016 trip the week leading up to Christmas. Which one should we stay at to best take advantage of holiday events? Monorail resorts are looking good, but price is better at other DVC properties like BWV and AKL. Thanks!

Honnestly, Wilderness Lodge is my favourite resort at Christmas. With the giant Christmas Tree in the lobby the great log pillars and the hidden nooks with fireplaces it screams Christmas. Plus you have boat access to MK. You can also visit the campgrounds at Fort Wilderness next door or take a carriage ride and see all the decorations there. IT is something to behold. If you absolutely want a monorail resort then Grand Floridian would be my choice as it is so pretty during Christmas time.

I agree with Alexandra!

I like the WL, especially at Christmas! Keep an eye on when the construction will be done, however.

The GF is expensive, but it is also a great holiday choice!

WL & AKL are 2 that really go all out & because of their atriums, they have a nice set up w/ the X Mas tree, and decorations.
