Which resort do your KIDS like best?

Out of all the resorts we've stayed at (see signature) our DS (age 6) loves the WL. He keeps asking to go back there. We have been to the AS and Pop, but he doesn't seem impressed by the big icons. He loved the geyser, the Cub's Den, the water slide, and the surrey bikes to FW.

My youngest DD LOVED All Star Movies - her favorite was 101 Dalmations! (We've stayed there three times already!!)
My teens loved Grand Floridian when we stayed there around Christmas time (and so did I). They also liked Contemporary - for its proximity to MK and the monorail!

My kids are happy anywhere!! But I think they prefer the big icons wether it be ASR or Pop. Out of the value resorts, I prefer Pop Century. It just takes me back in time and hearing those old songs are kind of nice too. The pool is really cool! Unfortunately they don't have a hot tub there. What's also nice is that it is very new and everyone there is sooo super nice and helpful!!

Now the kids and I are trying POFQ so it might change their minds as to wether which resort is funner.

I just asked DS 7, what his favorite hotel is and he told me the Mighty Ducks. So, I guess ASMO is his choice. He has also stayed at the Polynesian, Swan, and Dixie Landings, but ASMO won out.

DD (7) has stayed at:

GF - 5 times;
AKL - 2 times;
WL - 1 time

I just asked her and she said "Wilderness Lodge" so there you go...

Having said that, she always LOVED GF and certainly SEEMED to love every minte at AKL. Or was she just pretending she liked that slide by going down it 50 times in a row???

DS5 (almost 6!) loves the Poly, he's a chip off the old block. He also liked the nautical theme of the Yacht Club and the boats to Epcot which I didn't expect. He was bored to tears at AKL which I still don't understand.

DD1 , like all toddlers, loves it anywhere her mommy is.

I just asked my 6 year old niece and 3 1/2 year old nephew and they both said AKL .

My kids loved AKL and CSR best at Disney, but had rather stay at Hard Rock at Universal over Disney. My girls are 7, 5, and 2.

DS 10 AKL but prefers the Grotto pool over the Uzima pool
DD 18 loves the Swan (please note that she didn't go on either AKL trip)

DH loves the price of the allstars, but really did relax during our last trip and grew addicted to African smoothies at the AKL concierge.

I am currently addicted to AKL, but have our next reservations at the Dolphin, and am thinking about trying the POLY out after a great Ohanas visit last week!

We have stayed, at the Poly, AKL, WL, OKW, and CSR. Go figure, my kids liked CSR the best!

My kids love FW the best. I took a poll with them (I would have liked to stay somewhere different just to say I tried it), but they wanted to go back to FW. Get this---because of the golf carts! Nevermind that they cost more than the average car rental per day. My kids would take FW and the opportunity to motor around in the golf carts over any other resort. They also think it's pretty neat how everyone (teens) like to hang out at the pool when the parks close down. What fun! Oh to be young again!!

We've been to Disney World over a dozen times since 1992 and we've stayed at CBR, PO and Riverside, CSR, WL, the Poly, GF and the Contemporary. My sons have enjoyed the Contemporary the best. We've stayed there twice and both times we were in a tower room overlooking Bay Lake. They liked the view, the pools, the fact we were on the monorail, great access to the watermice, Chef Mickey's and the all night snack bar. They loved the Lobby and the fact the monorail goes right through the resort. And you know what...I can't disagree with them.

I was willing to go back to the POLY this year, but the kids (7&8)asked if we could go back to CSR. I was a little bummed, but for
82.50 tax included a night how could I disagree

We've stayed at Disney Villas, Contemporary, Beach Club, Polynesian, and our kids hands down voted to go back to the Beach Club.

It is within walking distance to the International gate at Epcot, you can access MGM via boat, or if you like to hike, by foot. You can rent "bicycle surreys" to ride around the lake ... they have a wonderful all you can eat seafood buffet at the Cape May Restaurant, and last but certainly not least, the pool is really a water park. If you haven't read about Stormalong Bay, go to www.wdwinfo.com and check it out! Last time we built a 4 ft. sand dragon on the sand bar, and there's nothing like squishing your poor tired feet after pounding the Parks' pavement in the sandy pool bottom!

Oh, and you have to have a room key from either BC, YC, or BCV to use Stormalong Bay. No pool hopping there is allowed.

We've stayed at POR, BC and CR. Both my daughters (now 11 & 16) like the Contemporary the best. They liked the Castle view and the monorail (also the California Grill and the view of the fireworks!) We're hoping to have that same view when we return in May. I was able to convince them to try to Poly for a few nights this time, so maybe they'll change their minds.

All 4 of my kids prefer AKL over all other properties. They are ds3, ds3, ds9, and dd17.

No hesitation among any of them, first choice.

Thier second choice was mixed DD17, ds3 said Beach club followed by Boardwalk as 3rd choice.
Ds 9, and second ds3, said Boardwalk followed by Beach Club 3rd.

They have stayed at the Poly,( Coronado springs which they all hated. )CBR , ASM, ASP, Beachclub, Boardwalk, Old Key west,

I keep intending to try WL but just can not seem to keep out of AKL.

Well I just asked my 2 teens (individually) which they liked the best and they both said WL. When I then asked them if that was the resort they wanted to go back to they both said no because they like to try different resorts. Go figure!

Both of our kids seemed to enjoy all the resorts we've stayed at so far, but when asked, DD said she liked WL best and DS said he liked AKL best.

DD, now 5, likes the Poly best of all. She has stayed at the WL and the CBR and nothing comes close to the Poly. She has stayed there 4 times and will be going again on Tuesday.

My grands were disappointed with POR, although they liked the slide. They prefer any of the AllStars. I like POR...seems to not be as noisy, more room in the pool. We did go back and walk around All Stars and I was thinking..oh, I am so glad we aren't staying here. (so noisy, lots of screaming kids).and they were saying..grandma, grandma, do you think they would let us switch over to here LOL!
