Which resort do you prefer to visit by boat from the Fort?(Colson Poll Of The Week)

I voted for WL simply because I haven't been there yet. We were at the Contemporary a couple of time this past June. This Dec we are definitely going have at least 1 day just to resort hop. I wanted to do this on our previous Dec trip, but 8 days just wasn't enough to do everything. Maybe the 13 this Christmas will work.

I like both resorts but we take the path to WL and take the boat to CR. So I voted CR.

I voted for the CR...I'm old school I guess but truth be told I just really love the monorail...

I voted WL. It was the first Disney resort that my wife and I ever stayed. It's awesome. I have Native American heritage so I always feel good when I am there. Nothing against the CR though, it is one of the resorts that I would like to stay at in the future.

I agree that I enjoy WL much more than CR...but as far as taking the boat, I really like that ride to CR. We really enjoying riding bikes over to WL....only problem is finding somewhere to park them!

We had that issue too. We found a place under the walkway between the bus stop and the side entrance,just off the sidewalk. We locked the bikes up together and hoped for the best.

I didn't vote because I haven't been to the Contemporary yet. We are going to go and check out Chef Mickey's on our next trip.

WL, for sure. I love the lobby area. It is so much prettier than the CR.

WL for me. We love to go over at the end of the day and get hot chocolate and sit by the pool, or in the lobby if it is bad weather. Just don't get caught putting ice cream in your cup with the hot chocolate, I was scolded and got a finger wagged at me once by a CM there who said that was a no no.

Thats funny...thats the same place we parked ours. No one said anything and it was the only place I could find to fit the bikes with the kid carrier behind one of them

I voted for the WL, it is DH and I's favorite hotel resort. I agree during Christmas it is beautiful. It is just peaceful.

Do you remember when you could get to the Poly by boat? That was a nice boat ride. It's too bad they don't have boats that go to the Poly & GF, directly from FtW, WL & CR.

Yea Deb, that was always one of my favorite boat rides, it's too bad that they did away with it. Nice long boat ride, that's for sure
