My DD and I just got back from Coronado Springs and now we are planning another trip in April with my DH (he wasn't able to go this trip).

Was hoping somebody could help us out. We are planning a trip in April and can't seem to decide where to stay. We are going between YC, BC, BW, AKL, WL, or Contemporary Tower. We have stayed at the WL and the AKL and my husband stayed at the Contemporary on business, but my DD 11 and I have never stayed there.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think your best bet is to decide what is most important to you. The YC, BC, and BW all have easy EPCOT and MGM access. Contemporary Tower has monorail. We're trying the YC this month. We picked it to see the fireworks at night, and to be able to walk into Epcot anytime. We also picked it because you have more dining choices readily available than WL or AKL. Anything you pick will be great. You just have to decide what is most important to you. Monorail vs. buses... Epcot vs. Magic Kingdom... does your child love animals and is a little more adventurous with food? If yes, then AKL might be the best decision. We also picked YC over BC or BW because we thought it might be the quietest of the three. Not sure if that will be true or not.

Boardwalk is a lively, active resort-very different from Wilderness Lodge. It might be perfect for an 11 year old.

Hope this helps.

I think a lot depends on what your family is planning on doing, what parks you will be going to, and which theming you decide appeals to you most. You can't go wrong with any of the resorts you are thinking about. I would check out the extensive pictures and details available about each on MouseSavers.com

If you are simply looking for our opinions, my vote is for the Boardwalk Inn. It is my family's favorite resort. The rooms are spacious, the pool is fun with the Keister Coaster clown slide, and we love the atmosphere there. Any of the resorts in the Epcot area along the Boardwalk would be great ---there is so much to do there, so many food choices, the surrey bikes, the ability to walk to Epcot, the entertainment at night, etc. You'll have a great time! ::MinnieMo
