I'm look for a room on site that will not cost a lot of money. We are going on the Magic and I wanted to stay on site before the trip. The kids are 2 and 4. A sofa sleeper will suite them fine but they need their own space from mom and me.We want this to be as painless as possible on my pocket.

Two years ago we did the Magic cruise and stayed at Caribbean Resort. We have never stayed at a moderate, only deluxes, and since it was for one night before the cruise, we chose that one. Less kids, alittle more plush and after returning from the cruise, we stayed at the Contemporary Resort Tower, Concerige for 3 nights, our daughter at that time, worked for disney and it was the cruise of a life time. So far, its been our first and only cruise, but loved it!! We had a room with a balcony, with 2 chairs and the room was just as big as the Carribbean Resort with 2 baths, one with a sink and toilet and the other a tub/shower and sink deal better than home!!

...before going on the Wonder las week and loved it! We got a rate of $88 per night. I think your little ones would love the theming. The rooms are like a normal motel (but cuter), but we were only in them to sleep so it didn't matter.

I'm leaning to pop century. I thik that I will like the big wheel myself. I wish that I could ride it.The rate with AAA dicount will be around $285 :cool1: for 3 nights

Pop Century wasn't finished in Nov'03 when we were picking one of the Value Resorts. We wanted ASM but ended up with Sports because of the great deal we got. I have only one thing to say-

I couldn't handle those food courts at the end of the day!!! Never again!

This time we rented a car and stayed at the Swan before our cruise. I would seriously consider a moderate to get away from the food court situation.

Its just more lines to wait in at the end of a Disney day when you just want to sit and be waited on. I tried eating dinner in the parks, but the kids always wanted a snack or drink or something that would have me ending up in those food court lines. First you wait to get the food. Then you wait to pay for the food. And the food is just as much as restaurant food to boot.

I won't babble on and on. I will just say it was aggrevating!

Don't know when you are going, but you might want to check into Old Key West or Boardwalk Villas- If you are going during the week and it happens to fall in value season, you can rent from a member for $80 (OKW) or $90 (BWV). That would get you a studio with a kitchenette and MUCH roomier than PC. We did that two years ago, and would never stay in a value again if the prices were comparable.
