we have DDP and DH said we could have 2 OOP meals. I need to cut one meal. These are what we have:

1900PF Dinner,
Tusker Breakfast,
Beaches and Cream Dinner, Crystal Palace PPO,
CRT dinner (my parents have paid for this for my birthday :) ), 1900PF Breakfast on MNSSHP day,
Minnie's Holidsy dine,
chef Mickeys breakfast,
garden grill dinner,
Ohana breakfast and BOG dinner.

I'm thinking of dropping beaches and cream and doing Flame Tree for dinner

I would either cut Beaches and Cream in favor of Flame Tree, since that is probably the least entertaining of your choices, or one of the PF, since you will be visiting there twice. Looks like you have a great line up! :)

I'm in the minority, but I would definitely cut out Chef Mickey's. The price is astounding and the food is mediocre at best, especially since you have other breakfasts scheduled. You can add 2 Flame Trees and still come out ahead.
Edited: I forgot you are on the Dining Plan. I would still cut Chef Mickey's but isn't that 2 credits? You can still eat at 1 restaurant with way better food and still pay out of pocket for Flame Tree. Just my opinion.

I would probably cut flame tree barbecue hard to find a seat birds flying all over the place although they do give you enough food to make Fred flintstone happy

I would either cut beaches & cream, 1900 park fare breakfast (dinner characters are outstanding there), or chef mickeys

Beaches & cream is extremely small inside and unless u are in a booth u feel like u are sitting on top of other tables...I will say this they do have amazing ice cream, but on that note they also have an ice cream pick up window so maybe if u drop this place u could do a little resort hopping and head to beach club to check out the resort and stop by their pick up window for some ice cream.

1900 park fare is 1 of my favorite dinner on property...their food is good, the character interaction is the best, and it is seriously 1 of the best character meals at Disney. With all that said we have eaten there for breakfast and dinner in the same trip but if I had to choose dinner would win by a landslide. At breakfast the characters are still awesome, Alice in wonderland is very sweet, the food is good but u do have more kid friendly breakfast...when we are there last year both my kids had fruit loops for breakfast...I was like this is a pretty expensive bowl of fruit loops lol, but again if I had to choose I would pick dinner over breakfast every time.

Chef mickeys...chef mickeys constantly gets a rep for bad food...there breakfast food is not terrible but it's also not incredible...if your goal is to have s character meal with Mickey and friends u have that already with Tusker House which by far has more superior food than chef mickeys. The character interaction there is ok but it could be hit or miss...sometimes we have had the characters right in a row, other times we would be waiting 45 minutes to see the last character. It's also very loud in there with a lot going on.

Anyways this is my reasoning for y we would choose to cancel anyone on these ADRs if we had to cancel something

I'd drop 1900 PF breakfast since you will be eating dinner there and you have some other breakfasts, and I'd pay OOP for Beaches and Cream.

I agree. I don't like hitting up the same restaurant multiple times in a trip. I want to experience as much as possible. I would drop a 1900 PF. Beaches and Cream isn't a good value for DDP which makes it a great value for OOP.

I was going to say I don't like to repeat dinner places either. We disliked Chef Mickey's dinner very very much...the only place we cans say that we don't plan on ever going back. We are big breakfast eaters and do prefer that over dinners anyway. We LOVE both Kona cafe and Akershus!

Would cape may be better than Chef Mickeys?

I have heard Cape May is way way way better than Chef Mickey's...we have never eaten there personally, but I also know that at Cape May you only get Goofy, Minnie, and Donald...so if you are expecting to see Pluto or Mickey you might be disappointed. If you want the fab 5, you best choices are Chef Mickey's (breakfast is better than dinner), Hollywood & Vine (dinner has Minnie's seasonal dining), & Tusker House (anytime of the day this place is awesome). There are also some other places where you can just get a few of the fab 5...Ohana has Mickey & Pluto, Garden Grill also has Mickey & Pluto plus Chip & Dale, & Cape May has Minnie, Donald, & Goofy.

Yes, the food is much better at Cape May breakfast than Chef Mickey's dinner in our family's opinion! We liked our time there spent with the characters too, lots of great interaction!

The fab five? Are you a cast member? :D
I never been to Ohana and I am wondering if it is worth the expensive breakfast.

LOL not a CM just a total Disney fanatic...it's a serious mental illness lol. Anyways we really enjoy Ohana and usually try to pencil this place into our schedule sometime on our trip. It's really low key and relaxing and I love the fact that the servers bring all the food to u instead of a full fledge buffet. My kids usually really enjoy Ohana and it's usually a requested place to go lol

Well if you ever want to be a cast member you can always apply at any local Disney Store. In the mall or outlet! The benefits are amazing! You only have to work part time. I work only 10 hours a week as my second job.

You have at least 3 meals with Mickey and friends. Loved Tusker house, did NOT like Minnie's Holiday Dine. I would ask you to look at the menu. I found only 3 things I liked, and they were in the children's area. That said, I did not love O'Hana either, though I am in the minority. I don't find MOST buffets that good. Did love (as I said) Tusker House. Cape May Café and Garden Grill are 2 pretty good buffets, especially loved the ambiance of GG. Thoroughly dislike Crystal Palace, it feels rushed and chaotic to me. Also be aware that the characters do not sign at Minnie's Holiday Dine; they give you a signature card. They do walk around and pose for pictures, though.

Wow really! Thats not cool! I was going back and forth of possibly doing this dinner, but in the end Hollywood & Vine (hopefully) PPO breakfast won out. Now I am glad I decided to go with the Disney Junior characters instead of the Seasonal dining thing.
