Which Rainforest Cafe, AK or DD?

My 9 year od DN would like to eat at the Rainforest Cafe, which one is better Animal Kingdom or Downtown Disney? I have been to the one in DD but never to AK.
Is animal kindgom's bigger? Smaller? more animals?

They are pretty much the same. We usually eat at the one at the AK because they take Advance Dining Reservations. The one at Downtown Disney doesn't. The insides are similar.

As mentioned by the PP there's not that much difference. I think the choice is driven more by your schedule than anything. For example we often arrive at Disney World late afternoon or early evening. Downtown Disney is a place to get in the spirit and not waste a park admission when we would be tired and have only a couple of hours. We head to DTD for a meal and some shopping and get to bed early to start the touring refreshed in the morning.

If you're looking for somewhere to eat on an AK day then RFC may work there.

just pick one based on your itinerary. every rain forest cafe that i have ever been in is pretty much the same.
