Which PSE program is best for designing and can it also be used for digital scraping

You all do such beautiful work and I enjoy the designs so much. I have made a couple of shirts for the grandkids and now would like to purchase a software program to do designs and also to do digital scrapbooking After 46 years of marriage we have sooo many photo albums that digital sure would save space. I would like to know which Photo Shop Elements program you feel is the best and can it also be used to do digital scrapbooking. Any info would be much appreciated.

I highly recommend Photoshop Elements! There are many free tutorials available online and the ElementsVillage forum is dedicated to users asking and answering questions! Scrapbooking is a YES!!

You can also find many free elements available online to add patterns, layer styles, fonts, shapes.... to the things that come included in the program.

You can generally get a trial version and see if it is right for you. In the Fall they usually come out with their new version and the prior version (right now 11 is current) can be picked up many places for a low price at that time.

I know many users that bought a version years ago and have stuck to it and have never upgraded. I usually upgrade every 2nd or 3rd year if new features are musts for me (I skipped version 11 and work with 10)

Thank you so much for the info. Guess I will be out looking for the software this weekend so I will be ready to use it when we get back from our trip to Disneyland next month. I just love checking out everyone's work here on the DISboards.
