Hi all,
I have made all our adrs for august, and just realized that none of our character meals are with the princesses!!!:sad2: We have been to the castle on previous trips, but this time we would like to try somewhere else. Any suggestions?princess:

I hear good things about the one at Akershus in Norway at EPCOT.
I haven't been myself, my first princess breakfast will be at the castle. princess:

1900 Park Fare is a buffet and features appearances with Cinderella, her Prince, Stepmother and Stepsisters. It's at the Grand Floridian.

Akershus is great!!! Family style breakfast and it is only 1 TS credit on DDP. When we were there we saw Belle in her yellow gown, Aurora, Mulan, Snow White (I am racking my brain for the others).

The only other one that provides more than one princess is the one at Epcot-Norway, Akershus.

The waiting area is outside and the last time we went the waiting crowd was getting to a point of revolt-riot. Not pretty at all. There is a cold serving line (maintained so-so) and then you order an entree so it is not strictly a buffet style dining experience. It also seemed they used seating times as a group process since table cleared out but no one new came in. We ate at a normal pace and did not linger around. When we went outside there were tons of people waiting to get in...yelling we have been waiting for 30, 40, 60 minutes past their ADR time...not pretty at all. Everything else relatred to the dining experience was fine.

The 1900 Park Fare is also nice and is entirely a buffet. Not as quiet as Akershus but they both have odd floor-table layouts. Characters are great here and the buffet is above average. Indoor waiting area.

we loved Akerhus for breakfast! The food was good, the princesses were great - the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. And you got to be in Epcot before it opened which was nice.

I've heard the food at 1900 Park Fare is the best of the three princess meals. It's kind of new, so you probably won't get as many "votes" for it on the DIS, since most people haven't tried it yet. But reviews are very good.

I saw the Stepsisters at the P&P Party last year & they were a hoot. I'd love for them to come to my table!

I been to all three and I must say that I really enjoyed 1900 Park Fare - Akershus is great to get the most princess "bang for your buck", but we will definitely repeat 1900 PF.

I enjoyed both Akershus and 1900 Park Fare. Unless they have changed it, the stepmother/sisters are there for dinner only. We saw Mad Hatter, Alice, Mary Poppins, Pooh, Tigger, and someone else, can't remember, and they were all great. Mad hatter was a HOOOOT! There is a LARGE buffet which was good, Norway is more princess characters. We say Belle in her gown who greeted us as we walked in for a "formal" pic which you had to buy seperately. Then, several others came to our table like Pocohantas, Mulan, Snow White, and again, Mary Poppins. The food was great - cold bar to start with, the hot family style bacon, eggs, sausage, and wonderful potatoes. Then they would give you refills as you wanted. We had an early ADR so didn't have much to complain about seating running late as previous poster. The atmosphere in Norway was also very nice. I liked them both very much, you can't go wrong. If I had to pick, I think I would do Akershus again.

The Akershus in Norway EPCOT is really nice. All the Princesses stop at each table and spend a good amount of time with each table. The food is pretty good- keep in mind its Norwegian food (check out their menus on WDWinfo.com). We went for lunch and really enjoyed it. I'm not a big fan of Norwegian food but their's was pretty good. I would do breakfast next time though. Good luck!

We've done dinner here, and really enjoyed it. Good food, great character interaction.

Of course, we've done the castle at breakfast too, and the food was good too, with a little less character interaction.
