We are going to WDW and want to do one of the Princess Meals.
We have a 3 year old girl and 6 year old girl. Please help us pick one they will both enjoy. :earsgirl:

I think the best would have to be CRT! What little girl wouldn't love to eat in the castle and meet all the princesses?!!? Have never done the one in Norway, but never hear good things about it. The dinner at 1900 Park Fare on has Cinderella, but she is accompanied by her Mice Perla and Suzy as well as Prince Charming and Fairy Godmother.

If you are trying for CRT be sure to call 3 minutes before phone lines open (7AM ET) 90 days out from your visit. The good thing is that they now offer both breakfast and lunch with the princesses.

Good luck!

Well it really depends on the kids. I would say Cinderella's Royal Table because at that age they will really love eating in the castle. But it is hard to get those PS. You have to call exactly 90 days in advance when the phones open and it can still be hard. I've never been to the one at Epcot but it will have more princesses if there is a certain one they want to see. I think it is easier to get also.

We did the one in Norway and it was great Princesses spent lots of time at the tables. The girls (5,3,2) loved it and they got the DS(9) to smile alot! LOL

We really enjoyed them both. Eating in Cindy's castle is an experience not to be missed. PSB in Norway was also great-good character interaction and DH loves the potato casserole.

pirate: We did Cinderella's Royal Table and also the Princess breakfast at Epcot two weeks ago. DW, DD(6) both agreed that Cinderella's Royal Table was the worst of all character meals we did. We felt very rushed, the breakfast was average. The Princess' came one after the other. Not much interaction. On the other hand, Princess breakfast in Norway was the best Princess meal. Princess' took their time to talk and have pictures made. DD was so excited that she didn't eat much. We even found out that Snow White has a friend that lives near us. The meal was better. The wait staff was friendlier.

It depends on what you like. I have been to both. Norway is def more quiet closed in more good food. at Castle if you intend on doing MK you can get in earlier and eat and go right to the park. I enjoyed food here better but was a bit louder. But still very nice!!! My son enjoyed this one better. My daughter liked Norway.

Oh gosh, having done both, i'd say it is a tough call. Maybe PSB has the edge for friendliness, variety of princesses (Mulan and Jasmine are here) and I liked the food better. Character interaction was about the same at both but we were less rushed at PSB too.

Hope this helps and good luck with your fun decision,
Claire

Well, we booked both, Norway for breakfast, less crowded and easier to get, and Cindy's for lunch which is alos a character meal, again less crowded and easier to get! Good luck

I'm in the minority here since I'd say go for 1900 Park Fare. We've done both CRT and PSB and were not thrilled with either. The character interaction at those 2 meals was the worst we've had at any character meal. The princesses spent about 30 seconds at each table before moving on. At 1900 Park Fare, the characters came around more than once and took their time at each table. Now that CRT offers lunch and Epcot offers a princess lunch and dinner, I might try them on our next trip. I won't be returning to either breakfast though.

There you go! Everyone is different, so every opinion is different. For my family, my dd wanted to see Princess Aurora, so I made a reservation at Norway, she loved it, had the best time, all her favorite Princesses were there, she was in awe, and she's 8, it was everything she loved, the food was her favorite too - cinnamon rolls! Fresh Fruit!! (everything else, not so much)

Now I felt that she really wanted to eat in the castle. So *I* was upset, and did everything to make that 'dream'... :rotfl: she was 'not so much' she really loved PSB, that was where it was at...

I still think the ambiance or knowing the whole world recognizes Disney with the castle, the castle is a must do... but if it were just dd, she's fine with Norway...

and I'm debating adding Park Fare... :wizard:

We loved CRT, and enjoyed 1900 Park Faire. I would do CRT at least once, but if you don't get it, don't sweat it, I think they are all nice. We will be trying the PSB breakfast for our December trip along with CRT. 1900 Park Faire was nice, we didn't have as good a Cinderella there as we did at CRT and the Fairy Godmother was more like a Fairy Madmother, she was very grumpy, the food was good, though, and the mice and Prince Charming were a blast. :wizard: It depends on which princesses your daughter prefers.

I could be wrong, but I thought I read that starting in June CRT would only be Cinderella characters similar to 1900 Park Fair. We did CRT in Dec and DD (3) LOVED it. We are planning on doing PSB this year because we are hoping to see Ariel. HTH

We just went to Disney two weeks ago. I made PS for Breakfast at CRT for Tuesday and PSB on Friday, our last day there.

My dd's favorite is Snow White - So, imagine my surprise when we walked into CRT and saw not only Cinderella, but Wendy, Mary Poppins, Aurora and SNOW WHITE!!!!

I ended up cancelling our PS for PSB since our dining plan was finished and we had already seen Snow White.

I will definately try PSB next time though.

Have a great trip!

OFF TOPIC (kindda):

Wouldn't it be fun/funny if during Star Wars Weekend they had a Princess Leia princess meal! :rotfl: They could serve breakfast with two cinnamon buns on your plate (like her hair!)

Sorry way off on a TANGENT with that one... ;)

We did dinner at Norway a couple weeks ago, and the following princesses were there: Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Jasmine, and Sleeping Beauty (pink dress -we didn't know who she was and had to ask her). If you're looking for these characters and a lot of interaction, this is the place to go. We are a couple (age 30 and 33) and because there was practically no one there, each princess spent quite a bit of time at our table, so I took pictures of each of them with DBF. Too funny!

We've done both PSB and CRT for breakfast and enjoyed them both extremely well - That said when it came time to make our PS's for our trip in May I asked DD which breakfast she would pick if she had to choose between PSB and CRT and CRT won hands down. So that is the one we did in May and it was great! We really enjoyed it - there is just something about eating in the castle and we've done this breakfast on 3 trips and have always enjoyed the food and the character interaction - This last time we had an early seating and it was great - I have read that it is best to have an early seating or a late seating for the best character interaction. :flower:

We went May 21-28 and did all three princess meals. Hands down favorite was CRT for adults and kids alike. There's just something about eating in the castle. The stuffed french toast is incredible! We felt rushed at PSB. We had a late seating and felt like they were trying to hurry as out. The food at 1900 Park Fare is also great. It's also the only place we saw a Prince at a meal. CRT had Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Mary Poppins and Aurora. PSB had Mulan, Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White and Belle. I think we'll try PSB lunch or dinner next time to try for Ariel. But the castle is a must do for us!
