Which playground is best?

We'll, hopefully, be at WDW in Dec. 2007. I'd like to take my DD2 to run around and climb/slide at a playground on one of our off days. The problem is we are planning on staying at the Grand Floridian which has no playgound. Which playground do you think woyld be the best to go visit? We'll have a car, so transportation is not an issue.

I've been to POP, AKL and All Star Movie playgrounds and I think they are basically the same. So I guess I would just go to the closest hotel that has a playground. Or go to the hotel you would like to see. AKL is beautiful.

I agree with the previous post. Most of the playgrounds are about the same. If you go to the AKL you could not only play on the equipment you could also go out on the decks off the lobby and look at the animals. They do have a guard gate at the AKL and they can be a little tough on people driving in to look around. We even had to show our ID's when we came in a cab, and we were staying at the AKL. It may be better to just take the bus over or to make a lunch reservation at Boma.

If you are looking to check out the other hotels, or "hotel hop", then the playgrounds are an added benefit...I'm not sure I would go just to find a playground...I agree AKL is really nice and that they have a nice playground and the animals would be nice to see. I also think that there is a lot for you and a 2yo to do at GF and the surrounding area. If you are just not in the mood to go anywhere and hang out, you could take the little boat ride b/w GF, Poly, etc. The beach at GF is nice to explore and you can walk over to the Poly. The beach there is fun and the marina is nice. The grounds at the Poly are fun to explore. I think there is a LOT for little ones to explore there!
So many choices.....!
