Ok, when we go to WDW in Nov, will be our DDs first trip, then aged 4yo and 1.5yo. We'll have 6 nights, but we're not sure if we want something planned each night. First night, we'll have dinner at Chef Mickey's, monorail ride, then maybe MK if open for a train ride or something. Another night is Illuminations, another Spectro, another MVMCP. That leaves 2 nights....we were thinking of going to Fantasmic, but I don't know if we should leave that as an open night or not? We planned on MGM in the am, and to me, it just seems like too much time at MGM for us...although we do want to go see Osbourne lights. If we skip Fantasmic, its possible for us to hit Animal Kingdom for Jammin Jungle Parade, which I think the girls would like. What do you think?

Leave those kids some free evenings!!! I don't know if you're planning on taking mid-day breaks at the hotel or not. We stayed off-site last week and depended on the hotel shuttle. We took the early bus back at 6:45 every night because the kids (3 and 6) had just had it. We just ate and swam and went to bed. So, personally, I would recommend you keep at least those 2 nights free to crash! Or, if you really want to see other night shows, plan late mornings sometimes.

I would base your evenings on how the kids are doing. My son was able to do Fantasmic at 8 and Illuminations at 9 but everything else was just too late for him. We did naps as well but he just couldn't do the later hours.

HTH,

Jean

Just wanted to note we are DEFINITELY planning mid day breaks. Plan on going to the parks early - both girls are early risers, although being tired there may alter that, but anyway, go to park am...come back depending on weather swim, take a nap, then out for dinner and something afterwards...we do not plan on staying out much past 9:30ish other than MVMCP, and the next day, no plans for the am. I just don't know if Fantasmic would be worth planning, but I think now, we may skip it, and wait til next year. Thanks!
