We will probably skip the water parks, but do we want to visit all of the others? Is Epcot and Hollywood Studios worth it w/ a child this age? We have 6 days and are trying to plan where to go!!

all of them! My dd who was 3 last trip loved all the parks. Her fav was MK, DHS next and then epcot and AK. We did not really love AK last trip, it was scorching hot and chaotic w/ little kids. There are a few good little kid featuers there like the safari, lion king show, nemo and a few other small attractions. MK is where we spent the bulk of our time though...she still talks about pirates of the caribbean her fav ride :) have fun !

I have a DD3 and DS 18months. We love MK of course, so many kid friendly rides. We also love HWS. DD loves the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and the Beauty and the Beast show. They also have a cool playground area that is Honey I shrunk the kids themed, so everything is like a yard only huge. We also like Epcot, each of the countries in the World Showcase has what they call Kidcot stops where they can make a craft and get their "passport" stamped. There are also characters in some of the countries, like Belle in France, Mulan in China, etc. We also like to play in the fountains at Epcot. Seas with Nemo is also great at epcot.

DS is 3 and we were just there in April. You are right that MK and AK (at least to us) are the most 3-y/o friendly parks as far as things to do, but we do find things to do at MGM and EPCOT. I wouldn't skip, but the attractions are not quite as abundant as the other 2 parks...I do recommend the Kid-cot stations in EPCOT, esp. if your DC is into art. Maybe plan on an AM or an evening for those parks instead of a full day???

We went back in October 2007 and our DS was 3 at the time. He is now 4 and constantly talks about wanting to go back. He asks us things like after we get done running errands at the grocery can we go to Disney next, etc.:lmao: Or as we are getting all loaded up to leave the house for the day he will ask if we are going to Disney now.......:woohoo:

He really liked MGM and all the star wars stuff. He loved AK, especially the safari and Lion King. MK was a hit for everyone, always is! He was just bummed he couldnt go on Space MTN. because he is a coaster fan and BTM was closed for refurb. Epcot was good, too. He got to ride test track and soarin' but it was very hot and muggy that day so we were all dragging. I think he will really love Epcot when he is 5+ because he can do more and understand more.

Any park is good but I think Animal Kingdom just for it's live animals is a great choice.

We were there in March for our daughters 2nd birthday and she had the most fun in DHS. With the addition of the Playhouse Disney Characters it really made it enjoyable for her, she knew who they all were and loved it. We also booked the breakfast at Hollywood & Vine with the Playhouse Characters twice because she liked it so much. MK would be a close second, followed by Animal Kingdom.

We took our 2 year old and she loved DHS because of Playhouse Disney. She also loved Epcot because of the characters that we found in WS.

My 3 year olds favorite parks right now are MK and Epcot. She really loved Epcot this last trip! She enjoyed the Kidcot stations and the Nemo ride, the Land, Maelstrom, and for some reason, Ellen's Energy Adventure! I wasn't sure about that one, but that's all she talks about now! :lmao:

Epcot was our favorite park last year with DD3, primarily because we found it easier to see the characters. We even opted to skip DHS to spend an extra day at Epcot. We saw so many characters in the world area. It was awesome, and all with at most a 5-10 minute wait (in Sept). We saw Alice, Mary Poppins, Belle, Beast, Genie, Aladdin, Jasmine, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Donald and Jose. Then again, if your kid isn't into characters, I might reconsider Epcot.

We just returned from our first ever WDW trip with 2 boys, 3YO and 5YO. We had 4 days and visited AK first day, MK 2nd day, HS 3rd day and MK last day. Specifically for my 3YO, here's what he liked/didn't: AK -loved everything in Fantasyland, Goofy Barnstormer, Buzz Lightyear; AK - loved Safari, Lion King, Pangini, playing in Boneyard, bored with Nemo. HS - loved IndyJones, StarTours and PH Disney, bored with Muppets.

He was happiest just walking around and exploring the dirt and ducks along the road. Definitely needed a 2-3hr nap each day and time to just play with his toys in the room. He loved all the character meals.

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I think we will try to go to each park and spend extra time at MK. Thanks for the Hollywood and Vine tip, DD is a HUGE JoJo fan, we just booked a lunch, she is goingto flip!!
