Which parks for 10 days in June?

We're going to WDW June 12-22. Myself, hubs, 13 yo son, 9 yo daughter. We'll have day 1 (arriving at MCO at 8:00 am) to ourselves. Then days 2-8 will be spent with my parents and my sister's family (4 yo and 1 yo girls). Then they leave and my husband's parents join us for days 9 &10. Staying at POP. NO dining plan or park hoppers (opted out in preference for longer trip). 10 day tickets, plan to do a park each day (will take midday breaks as needed). Last trip was 6 years ago and this is not something we'll be able to do again for many years so we want to plan well. How many days would you spend at each Park? Here's our thoughts but please give feedback.
MK - 4 days (one would be a 1/2 day)
HS - 3 days ( arrival day plus 1 day with my family and 1 day with hub's parents)
Epcot -2 days
AK- 1 day

I think you're looking at it backwards. It's much better to plan out what you want to do in each park and then see how much time you'll need in each park

That's kinda what we're trying to do (thinking about how much we'll do in each Park), but since it's been several years since we've been we wanted to see if WDW experts thought we're allocating enough time for each. MK is everyone's fave so that's why we plan to do the most there (though I'm a little afraid my kids will be bored by day 4). We thought HS 3 days bc 1 will be just my hubs/kids, 1 with my parents/sister's fam, and 1 with hub's parents. Plus with Star Wars, TS land, and Mickey/Minnie runaway train all being new to us we thought we'd spend more time there. Epcot 2 days bc we plan to do 1 Future World and 1 World showcase. And that leaves 1 for AK...hoping that's enough. That's my biggest question mark.

The only thing I question is the HS arrival day and what you'd be able to get for FP+ in June - but since you have plans further in your trip for HS the FP+ for those days should be easier - especially the one with his parents towards the end. I have no problem with just 1 AK day, it being June and AK being the warmest park to tour at that time. Bring plenty of water and hydrate.

Just a tip: Don't beat yourself up thinking you will stay with your well thought out and planned schedule. FL weather is unbelievably fickle and crowds totally can throw you for a loop. This evening I just got back from a 12 day stay with a 5-split of DVC resorts (yes, crazy. but it was a lot of fun). Crowds are never busy end of January. I know because we go for our anniversary. Well, this year they were NUTS. So was the first week in December where it's not supposed to be nuts and it was.

I was cancelling FP+, cancelling ADR's and switching PARKS like crazy. My very neat Excel spreadsheet looked absolutely nothing like it had when we left the house.

Just saying that you can plan and plan some more but Disney today is not like Disney prior. It's crazy crowded and you say to yourself "Let's get out of here and try another park on MDE". Yes, HS was expected to be super busy and so was MK but this was beyond nuts. And it was supposed to be slow. You know you're in trouble when in Epcot, you couldn't even walk. Midweek. During the day. When children are in school.

That's good advice! Thank you! And yes we are just trying to do the best we can with plans but we know that even the "best laid plans" will probably have to change on the fly!

Not directly related to what park and when but a good tip for touring in June no matter what you decide:

We were there in June this past year - plan for HOT days which may require more time outs for anyone who it heat sensitive. MK is pretty easy as there seems to be a drink cart or shop every 10 yards or so. Epcot - it's more spread out and the areas are typically in direct sun, so plan on at least heading into the World shops just to get some cool air if nothing else. HS - this one also has most stuff inside so it's a bit easier to beat the heat. ( Indiana Jones being the exception ). And AK has some shaded areas but with all the foliage it can get very humid and see much. Another tip - purchase cooling towels for those who may be effected by the heat and humidity.

Thanks! We wish we could travel during a season with preferable weather, but my husband and I both work in schools (and our kids are school-age also). We aren't thrilled about the heat and rain of June, but we're going in knowing what to expect and praying for unseasonably favorable weather

I think I’d give AK 1.5 days and move MK to 3. Riding FOP twice is worth it.
