Which park would you do if you were only here 1 day?

If you could only do one park which would it be?

  • Magic Kingdom

  • Epcot

  • The Studios (MGM)

  • Animal Kingdom

I'm sure this has been done before but I thought it would be fun to see how the parks rank against one another.

I used top be an EPCOT person but now I seem to find myself more and more at Magic Kingdom. I think the rocking chairs have something to do with it. :D

i think its all about the kids right now that i pick MK. Without the kids, id' probably pick mgm, but epcot would be a close second. but i could say that if one of my kids suddennly became fascinated by animals or dinosaurs, well then it'd be animal kingdom.......so many kingdoms, so little time.

I would usually say EPCOT, but I'm feeling pretty EPCOT-ed out from being there so much. MK is probably what I would go with. Either that or so a three-park-hop.

EPCOT is my favorite, the SO likes AK but if I had to visit only 1 park in 1 day it would have to be the MK. With the AP's, we'd hit all 4 some how!!

:earsgirl: :earsboy:

Me too, seeing the castle just gets me all choked up for some reason:(

We're going to WDW for 3 short days in May and we're only going to one park (We're just going to buy the one day pass) and only visit MK ;)

ENJOY!:teeth:  :teeth:

One of my favorite places in all of the land is the Bawana Bar(sp) in Harambe. It get an amber ale and sit and listen to the "people" making noise around me, (from the hotel) while I watch the water running in the river. It is very relaxing. I also love the little alcove behind the bathrooms, too. So far, no one has ever been there when I am. Very quiet place to unwind.

MK! I will be there on April 6th to meet the GREAT Dan Murphy!;) I am leaving around 6:00pm to come back home.;)

This is a loaded question, so I couldn't answer the poll. There are so many variables. Are their kids involved, if so, what ages, is this a first trip or 10th? Are you a thrill seeker or do you like tamer attractions? Do you see what I mean?

Personally, if on my next trip, we only had one day with no hopper privledges I would choose Ak, only becasue our last trip there, my son fainted within the first half hour of the day, and we were transported to the hospital via ambulance. So we lost the whole day.

But if this was my first trip, or travelling with young children or anyone's first visit to WDW, MK is the only way to go. That is a no brainer, lol. Ya gotta see MK.

If it was just dh and I, it would probably be EPCOT, since we usually stay in an EPCOT resort and love this park the best.

If it was a trip just with my teenagers, then MGM it would be.

Thanks for letting me dream about it anyway, lol. :Pinkbounc

It's not a loaded question for me...
Kids...no kids...first time....20th time....old....young...

It's Magic Kingdom for me!

Heart4Dis,

I am so excited for you. I noticed you haven't been there in over 10 years. Have fun planning your trip and doing the countdown!!!

thanks everybody who voted. It would be interesting to see how this would play out with varying factors. Like kel said This is a loaded question. There are a lot of variables.

I was just wondering if YOU could go and do what YOU want so I guess (SOLO) what would YOU do and why.

Definitely MK. Much as I love Epcot and AK (not much on MGM, although I may be when the kids are older), MK will always be the "real" WDW for me!

Cinderella's castle is there and my favorite ride is there "Peter Pan's Flight"...It's at the Magic Kingdom!!

Splash Mtn. to me is the ultimate Disney attractiion, and I also wouldn't feel like I'd been to WDW if I didn't go around once on Small World! :p

Too much fun, pixie dust and magic at MK to go anywhere else if I only had one day

Thanks
Jason
