Which Park Which Days?

So...what is the general consensus on what days are best for which park. For example, we are going at the end of August, a couple of days over a weekend, some days during the week. Would you do something like say Hollywood Studios on a weekday (assuming the AP's will be lighter) or on a weekend?

Touringplans and others used to have recommendations of which parks were best on which days, but of course, its a whole different world. Will be interested in what people think here.

From what I have heard, the crowds are super low. Having said that, two rules seem to apply:
The parks are busier on the weekends
DHS is busier than the rest

Based on that info, for our trip next week, I booked AK this Sunday, and next Saturday, and I booked DHS Monday and Thursday. I’ll keep my fingers crossed and let you all know how we do…

I haven't been in recent times, but our two main rules without taking anything else into consideration are (1) avoid MK on Saturdays and (2) always go to a park that closes early, because most people will avoid it and even with the shorter hours you will get more done.
